Q3. Many higher learning institutions are now keen in doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus.
However, it seems different at TATIUC's campus.
What can you do to contribute?
I agree with the statement above but we cannot just compare our College with other huge university and college because we are a new born institute. By then, the total of student that doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus here is too little compared by other university. It is a simple mathematics theory. Here I give the example:
Total amount of student UTM = 10000 Total of doing this actvty = 1000 so the ratio is 0.1
Total amount of student TATiUC = 1000 Total of doing this actvty = 100 so the ratio is 0.1
here we see that the ratio is same although UTM have many student that joint this activity. (values above are not the real one, just examples)

But to manipulate all student to joint this is not impossible for me. Here is the way : 1- Proclaim the law on environmental pollution in TATiUC campus 2- Create a club of Saving The Earth or Cycling Club at TATiUC and organize an activity that can maintain the awareness of student about the importance of keep the environment clean and healthy. 3- Use this club as one of co-curriculum activity that compulsory to be taken by every fresh student (new student). 4- Provide a cycling track for student to do cycling activity every weekend. 5- Organize a cycling competition. 6- Organize a competition of Lighties and Hardest Bicycle or others at TATiUC that can attract student to involve on creating a healthy environment around TATiUC. 7- thats all .... hu3....thank you

Saving the earth by cycling in TATIUC’s campus? It seems more like a fantasy to be happening in TATIUC. There are several factors that make the idea hard to achieve. First, it’s hard for the students to bring their bicycle to the campus if they had any. Then there is this thing called ego within the students itself that make them feel ashamed to ride a bicycle around campus. Other factor are maybe the students are too lazy to cycle because its tires them. That’s why students prefer motorcycle or car as a transport because it’s fast and not tiring. To encourage students to cycle, TATIUC need to provide free bicycle for student’s usage. But it’s not like 1 bicycle for 1 student, just like 50-100 bicycle for free rental. Then do a campaign or a competition to make them more interested to cycle around campus. What can I do to contribute? Well one thing for sure that I don’t have any car or motorcycle plus I walk to get around the campus.

How to saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around at TATiUC? Cycling is the most rewarding mode of transport to use to get to campus as it helps individuals to be healthy and save money. Bikes also use fewer resources to function and keep maintained, and emit less pollution, all of which contribute to a cleaner environment. Walk or ride a bicycle to class and everywhere you can. For your information, you can reduce greenhouse gases while burning calories and improving your health. If you cannot walk or ride a bicycle, is sharing the car with your friends. Each car can bring down a big change on Earth. Besides that, create a club "love the earth" in TATiUC and set an activity to keep students' awareness about the importance of the environment in and outside the campus TATiUC. We can also create an awareness campaign about the thin layer of earth's atmosphere with the people who do not know how to keep the earth properly. TATiUC management must also be concerned about the problem of students who prefer to use a motor vehicle than a bicycle or walking. In my opinion, bicycle is one of the vehicle that people around the world use it as the transport. For example Japanese people use the bicycle as their main transport in their daily life. They use the bicycle to go to school, work, shop and so on. Actually, the uses of bicycle was started a long a go but people did not realize it. Malaysia also use a bicycle as one of the transport such as police traffic department use a bicycle when they do patrolling in their routine daily. It is become more easier to them compare they use a bike. I have done some research about using a bicycle around university or campus by asking my friends who studying at different place. They said, at their campus only a few student who use the bicycle as their transport to go to class or another places. It shows that uses of bicycle as a way of getting around campus still in lower level. So, I have a few recommendation to contribute this problems among the student in higher learning institutions especially at TATiUC, campus. There are : Organize a cycling marathon among the TATiUC’s Students Do the cycling month – all student and staff of TATiUC must to participates. Built Cycling Club Make a talk about advantages uses of bicycle around the campus.

Oh this topic is interesting for me.. I agree with miss Sara our student is difficult to cycle in TATIUC campus... They think cycle in our campus is embarrassing to them if they cycle in our campus. Our TATIUC admin must have talk to our student about benefit if they cycle for our health and our environment.
If they cycle everyday go for class or work they can reduce pocket money. They can save their pocket money into bank or used if they really need for study.

i wonder how its like if our lecturers go from class to class by cycling..huhuhu...good idea by zaimir..i think we can start saving the environment starting from the cafe..besides using polystyrene and plastics bags,how about just use paper to wrap food and paper bags to carry it or they can just bring their own tupperware..hahaha..plastics usually take longer time to banish..next,we need to prepare a recycle bin for each academic or hostel building and hopefully tatiuc students will use it wisely..once or twice a month,tatiuc can make a recycle day for whole student and staff,make a rule that each one of them must bring at least one stuff to be recycle...another way to save environment is just forbid male student from smoking in campus..if they smokes in their room, put a smoke detector..huhu...besides,student can get influence a lot by older people behave..so all lecturers and staff also must give a good example for students and it is up to student actually tu change themselves...ty..

In my opinion, too many ways that we can do to protect our earth layer. One way is to use the returned goods does not apply, although we do not want it anymore, but things are still eligible to apply, there are still many people who can use it. Toys are stored, books, and clothes, shoes (all types of clothing, something that is used). We can give them is not able to buy, such as charities, schools, care so they do not have to incur expenses to purchase a new one. Bukuboleh submitted to the local library or school, thus you are hero in helping to educate people. In addition, we can save the earth by using a repair and reuse. Let us take care of the goods to be durable and long lasting. For example, by sewing the torn clothes, mend a torn book, bring shoes that damaged the cobbler, repairing the damaged electronic equipment and so forth.
While the third way which may guide us to do is change something into something else useful. Tell us that 2 / 3 of sampahkita can be recycled? To dispose of waste, means we have removed the material, time and energy that has made. Because the waste will continue to grow, such as any plastic that can not be left to rot so it can even be toxic to the earth. Some of that can be recycled such as glass, textiles, plastics, and paper. Fourth recycled material can only be done by the fabric, but we can own, such as waste recycling food waste for fertilizer manufacturing plant that is useful for us. While the view from my past to overcome this problem is a reduction in daily use, for example reduction in electricity consumption, electricity generated mostly from coal that was formed millions of years ago when the pre-history forest rot under the earth, a time coal will be exhausted. Burning coal causes pollution, now people are trying to create a pollution-free electricity from sun light (solar), wind and waves of other examples are Ombak.dan reduce gasoline fuel consumption, on foot, bicycle, nebeng (read: riding) a vehicle with other people / friends, riding public (go by bus, public transportation, or car). Gasoline cause air pollution! Gasoline produced from oil that comes from the millions of microscopic fossils of sea creatures, a day of crude oil supplies will be exhausted. It would be possible we will use the vehicles fueled with sun rays or wind.

i agree with the Mrs Sara's topic. Riding a bicycle is a great way to contribute to the preservation of our eco system and environment here on our great planet earth. Many people are concerned with pollution and many other things that damage and dissolve the ozone and cause the atmosphere to be dirty. If we all contributed with one small thing that we can change in our daily living routines to help with the protection of the earth, perhaps we could, as a collective, make a substantial impact for the better.
One way to go green and contribute to the preservation of our environment is sometimes riding a bicycle instead of starting up the car or motorcycle. Driving and operating vehicles is one thing that many countless people do on a daily basis that harms the environment. Do not get me wrong because I do believe that driving, in most cases, is a necessity of life in this modern age. However, if we just dedicated one day or one short route to the use of bicycles and cycling as a method of transportation, it can, in a small way, make a big difference to the health of humans and other living beings, and also the health of the our home, the earth.
Cycling takes a measure, big or small depending on the length that we travel while cycling, of physical strength and endurance. It also takes a measure of determination and discipline. By trading a vehicle for a bicycle, even if it is just once or twice every so often, we are able to get some exercise. This gives us the opportunity to build stamina, strengthen our muscular structure, get an aerobic workout, and experience the mental clarity you are able to get while enjoying the great bicycle ride.
I suggest that such efforts made by all citizens TATIUC to show our spirit to save our beloved earth. we do not have to compare it with other institutions, but we need to think about our efforts to save the earth.
In my opinion, TATiUC’s campus is not large campus like other IPTA campus. TATiUC students and staffs may to contribute on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus. On the other hand, we can save our money, reduce the petrol usage, can exercise by cycling and save the green house effect. TATiUC can do campaign for cycling to class and give free bike for students. This may encourage students to cycling to class. Make some activities like competition that involve bike or make bike tour in Kemaman and create a cycling club. Firstly, student lazy to bring bicycles in the campus if at the afternoon because its sweltering and that is ego at student too high. That’s why students prefer motorcycle or car as a transport because it’s fast and not tiring. To encourage students to cycle, TATIUC need to provide free bicycle for student’s usage. Tatiuc can sue student or staff who they vehicle make a noise or produce lot of smoke, management tatiuc also can provide bicycles for student. We can reduce greenhouse gases while burning calories and improving your health. Secondly , create a club "love the earth" in TATiUC and set an activity to keep students' awareness about the importance of the environment in and outside the campus TATiUC, TATiUC can do campaign for cycling to class and give free bike for students. My opinion is I really want to change the lifestyle of our society by moving activities by cycling and the lastly is the most important thing in saving our earth and also the cooperation by the students and also by the lecturer’ s of TATiUC.
When I think about the world today, I find myself losing hope every once in a while. Are we going to make it at all? Look at the world. the worst form of virus has infected this planet, a virus that multiplies astronomically, kills anything and everything that can be killed, destroys or alters all else, does not even kill for hunger or survival but sometimes out of sheer fun killing and here’s the strangest bit. It kills its own kind and even itself. The virus is called human, and it is about to destroy the very planet it lives on.
Now imagine how the planet will look like 50 years from now as we continue ravaging our mother earth raping it and killing everything that comes on our way. Can you imagine? Can you see the difference?
So what do we do then? What is the solution? Are we going to survive at all?

Generally scientists today agree that the Earth is suffering from global warming and that we have to do something to curb our contribution to climate change. I will start showing my contribution with preparing a paper work to encourage all the community members in our campus to support “Divorce your Car! Ending the Love Affair with the Automobile”. The main points that I would like to express in my paper work is build up a cycle lane and set a new rule to encourage all the community members to cycle as a way by getting around campus. I am looking forward it if HEPA will consider to my paper work to seeing the new TATiUC’s campus with a new cycle lane. With the new rules such as provide a parking lot outside the campus, and start cycling as a way by getting around campus on the cycle lane. The rule can be start with cycling as a way by getting around campus for once a week and slowly promote it from days to days. In my opinion, since the population of our campus is not much (just around 2000 people) comparing to other higher learning institution, our campus might acquire an award for applying the concept of cycling as a way by getting around campus. Currently where economic downturn is at its peak, all of us are trying to find ways to make a cut back. Along with our campus size, then cycling might be an excellent alternative for those who are physically healthy enough to go to work this way. Just consider how much a daily commute can amount to if you go to the class/office by car. We have to pay for our gasoline and perhaps have to pay car repair costs. Cycling on the other hand is absolutely free of charge! The only thing we need to have is a bicycle. When talking about “We need to have is a bicycle”? The price for a bicycle is not expensive, but not everyone wiling to buy it. The way to settle down this problem is we can provide more bicycle in the campus with working out to get the sponsorship.
At this moment in time, I have joining many campaigns through the Facebook. Also, I will organize a “Green Campus Campaign” through my club, KRISTAC to persuade all the community members in the campus to alert about cycling as a way by getting around campus. Furthermore I want to be an Environmental Campaigner. I will join a Local Conservation Group. It may be planting trees around the campus, get out and meet like minded people who care enough to help save the earth.

There are many activities or programs that have organized in all learning institutions whether in school, college, university, kindergarten or others to improve the awareness of saving the earth and environment. The importance and advantages of cycling for individual of environment cannot be overemphasized. This is one good way to live a greener lifestyle. In Japan, people prefer to use the bicycle as their main transport. As one of TATIUC`s student, the cycling activities are not activated an at low level among the students compared to other higher learning institutions. Behalf of the students, I can share some of my recommendations and suggestions about these issues. Firstly, we can organize the cycling campaign among the students. Make the talks and list down the advantages of using the bicycle in the campus. There are many of the advantages of cycling that we can share together with the students. One of the advantages is using the bicycle can save huge amount of our cost. By using the bicycle we need not to buy the petrol and the same time it will reduce the pollution to our environment because there is no fuel consumption that releases the hazardous gases. Besides, cycling also the best way to achieved good health and fitness. Some of facts say that an average cyclist that goes on biking everyday has a level of fitness of an individual that is ten years younger and with this level they reduce level of life threatening illness or diseases or even health problems. So, you don’t need any medical treatments. Cycling also enabling people who could not otherwise move easily to exercise to increase their physical fitness and stimulate fat metabolism and also contributes to weight reduction by burning energy. Other than that, cycling has a considerable relaxing effect due to its uniform, cyclic movement which stabilizes the physical and emotional functions of the body. This counteracts anxiety, depression and other psychological problems. So, we will feel more relax and can focus in our studies. Secondly, we can do cycling competition among the students every month. We can prepared the prizes as to the winner as the alternative to encouraged the students to participate. Thirdly, we can organize the cycling club. We can do the interesting activities outside and inside the campus. Then, TATIUC need to build the special place or track for cycling around the campus. The students can cycling during their free time or at evening after finished the class. I agree with this topic. As a student in tatiuc, i see average students prefer transport as motorcycle and car. It seems different with other campus prefer cycling as a transport. With the use of motor vehicles every day we will experience air pollution and noise pollution. As we all know there is a great effort being made worldwide to counter act the alleged impact of the human footprint on the world's climate, the earth’s land, oceans, and atmosphere, as well as the health of the inhabitants destroying it! The largest sources of air pollution are transportation engines, industry and power generation, and solid waste. The fact is that Earth is dying and although there is no clear-cut solution to all the problems that face Earth but it is obvious that everyone has to play a part in conservation methods. There are many ways and methods to help Earth while being able to benefit ourselves at the same time other than a bicycle to the campus. For example, going to bed earlier not only helps to improve your health but decreasing the amount of global warming. Keep in mind that the extra time staying up requires electricity and these usually come from burning coals or natural gas which will result in global warming. I strongly agree with your statement. We should carry out as a passenger who know and appreciate, not only know how to use. In the campus there are various types of vehicles moving in and out. Through the monitoring of the campus, the statistics show the highest fuel consumption of motorcycles and cars. The use of motorcycles majority of students. Clearly shows that air pollution can make various impacts on the environment. Use a lot of motor vehicle emissions causing many harmful gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and others that can affect the health of the campus community. The effect of pollution regulations, can affect human health, resulting in an overall reduction in haze and reduces the distance visibility.To prevent before its too late, cycling is one way to take care of this earth other than on foot. I agree with that statement, we can conclude that riding is having benefit. It’s can save our environment from pollution and can protect the earth. At Tatiuc, we can see that student mostly use motorcycle and car as their transport. Some is walking but no one use bicycle as their transport. It’s because the students are lazy. They also don’t have bicycle. We can contribute it with another way such as make a program about riding in campus. There are advantage of riding like it is an environmentally friendly mode of transport, you save money on fuel by riding a bicycle, riding a bicycle is good for your health. You develop a strong heart and muscular limbs and there are no parking problems. This is one way to go green. We also can make campaign to go green. This campaign should be made every semester. We can paste posters at hostel about riding. New student can get early info about riding in campus. Riding a bicycle at TATiUC campus as a way to conserve the earth? I’m not really sure it can be a reality at TATiUC campus as any other higher learning institutions did. In fact, it will seems very strange for me when seeing students especially the female students of TATiUC cycle to their class or somewhere else around of TATiUC. However. it’s not an impossible thing for students and lecturers using the bicycles around the campus. As we can see, nowadays, the usage of motor vehicles is the major cause that lead to serious air pollution in Malaysia. It is possible for cycling at the campus if all the TATiUC students, lectures and also the staffs play their own role and cooperate each other to save our environment from being polluted by the hazardous gases contribute by the motor vehicles. Personally, I think that the best way to encourage students of TATiUC to cycle around the campus is by providing bicycles for rent. To rent the bicycle, TATiUC higher management should charge only below RM1 for rent per day. I definitely sure that this way will not affect the financial of the students. I’m not really agree if TATiUC authorities give a free bike for each students as it will required a lot of amount of money to buy it of all. The other alternative to enhance students to cycle is by providing a lot of ample free parking spaces only for bikes around the campus. Any parking space for motor vehicles should not provide at all in TATiUC. I’m sure this way will avoid the students and also the lecturers from using any motor vehicles. Another way is by making a facility to repair bicycle such like a bicycle workshop. As we know, bicycle is not a long-distance vehicles, so if any broken or damage of the bicycle, they easily can repair their own bicycle only in the campus of TATiUC. Campaign for using the bicycle around the campus should be organized by the TATiUC authorities. This way also can give awareness to the students on the importance to save the earth. If we don’t do this, who else can help to save our nature? It depends on us especially for the students like us in a mission to save the world. Cycling as way of getting around campus besides as the way to saving the world from the pollution, it also a way to have good habit doing it as an exercise. In TATIUC this activity have not practiced well and here is some suggestions what can I do to contribute it. A cycling group can be the way in practicing it. By participated in this group the students with their own bikes are allowed to fix their bike on their way. Today, many teenagers around the world such as UK and Japan are cycling as a trend called as “Fixie”. They fix their bike to single speed and paint their bike with nice colour. Besides, cycling they are also doing some tricks with their ride. That’s was really awesome. So, a “Fixie” club will be an excellent way in practicing this cycling habit. I’m also thinking in suggesting to the administration to conclude a bike to each students of TATIUC in their fee. That’s will be one of the way to practicing this cycling habit to each students in this college. Participated by all of the staffs and lectures to cycling around the campus also can be one of the excellent way to practicing it. That’s will be really nice when all of the occupants in this college riding their bike around it’s beautiful surrounding. The practice green is actually easier than I thought. There are few things you can do every day to help reduce greenhouse gases and mitigate the harmful effects on the environment. The task to save the earth is not just a responsibility - it is an honor. We as students need to contribute and to prevent environmental pollution. The bike like in other research institutes, but most students does not want to Tatiuc cycling because nature of the ego or embarrassment to bike around campus. Students also do not think if they were to bring a vehicle like a motorcycle or a car can cause smoke pollution and environmental pollution. My opinion the club Tatiuc must establish green leaves or Cycling Club to address the problem of environmental pollution, the existence of such clubs to students the importance of exposure to meditate on the campus bike like the other university. Tatiuc should also ban the carrying of first year students in the campus with a vehicle such action is possible for students to bike to class. Campaigns can also bring awareness to students about the environment with the use of bicycles. The campus must also provide facilities to rent bicycles. At other universities provided a place of bicycles but in Tatiuc only provides a vehicle just like a car and etc, because the students did not dare to bike to class because they were worried they would be stolen bicycles.

I agree with this statement. As a TATIUC students, how we can save the world from pollution by using bicycles on campus. In Japan, people prefer to use bicycles than motor vehicles for the use of bicycles can solve the haze problem. In TATIUC campus, the number of private vehicles in the research institutes is high and it may have an impact on the environment. This can increase the noise and air pollution. As students, the campus community should be an example of changing minds and sustainable lifestyle in an effort to address global warming.The practice of cycling on campus should be supported throughout the campus and spurred on by the campaigns and awareness programs on an ongoing basis in order to achieve this activity. By using the bike it can be good for health as well as protecting the environment and we also could save the money. Among the efforts for the success of this activity on campus is to provide free bicycles to campus, even if the sponsoring university staff are better because they embody the spirit of caring and friendship. First of all there will be pro and contra if we are comparing us to other IPT. Not all IPT keen in doing this kind of saving world program such as cycling or others and maybe they will be the IPT which harm the world. The pro and contra this topic will depend how they think and not to comment others or act like the genius that giving speech although the commenter is wrong from the beginning and hard to receive other opinions. When we talk or think about TATIUC’s campus, we must think about the employees, staffs, students or everyone which include there. If we proceed with this kind of program how many of them will stay and co-operate and make this program successful? Are the employees or lecturers or staff all involve? And did the students also getting involve in this program? In order to make this program or this kind of saving the world to success all of us have to co-operate together. Staffs or employees cannot just let the students to do whole the thing and students also have to think about their lecturers or staffs responsibility which outside their responsibility to campus. Let say if the campus organizes lots of program but there will no co-operative between all of us, this program will be deficient. Besides that, all of us must be influenced the importance of taking care the green. It can be done by make it as the compulsory co-curricular activities and also exposed to them the badness of ignoring the usage of the green. I agree with this question. Some of the other campus usually uses cycling around their campus to saving the earth but it’s very different in our campus of TATiUC. Why it is happen, we can see that almost lectures and students use their transport to go to the class or office. Why it is happen I also did not know but what I can says here is sometime I just saw a children’s in this campus that have using the cycling. Why there are not uses transports like the elders do? Maybe you all think that they are still young so they cannot have the transportation. It is true? What I can distribute here is our campus of TATiUC is located around with the factory with the bad environment. So, that’s why many of students and lectures using their transport to safe their healthy from this pollution. Although the cycling is a good activities to saving the earth but our healthy also do. Furthermore, if there is no factory surrounding campus, students and lectures also can get bad environment. Why I say that. It’s because in this campus have a chemical subject, so they cannot run from this pollution. These smokes become every where and every place. So, how we can cycling on the campus in that ways. What I suggest is our campus must have some safe place to do these activities. With this place, students can get their release and also can safe the earth. I most of tatiuc students dont want to cycle or walk to class is because the weather condition..it is too hot..so to encourage the students to walk..there are several way we can do to save the nature by decreasing the usage of vehicle.. 1st thing we can do to contribute is by planting as many trees as possible along the passageway of students from the hostel,to the faculty..the use of the tree is to shade the passageway..of course it is cheaper than building a concrete passageway...so there is no more problem for students to walk or cycle to the class under a tree shaded passageway..of course the air will be cooler and refreshing.. 2nd way is to minimize a motor vehicle usage also by sharing the transport to go to class...students can join a carpool or a vanpool..but i think most of tatiuc students like some 'attention' by driving their own car..so its just a suggestion and maybe never gonna happen...haha.... other way students can contribute is to minimize the usage of paper... for example: 1)if you have to copy a document,copy on both side of paper.. 2)reuse paper item such as envelope or use recycle paper.. 3)when eating,use a cloth napkin instead of paper one.. 4)use reusable plate instead of disposable one.. All this step can minimize the paper usage and also can reduce the lumbering activity..when the trees is save,the earth also saved from other natural disaster like global warming,flood,soil erosion, and so on... All of this happens with this entire problem. First, with riding a bicycle, make some students feel more sleepy or tired when they arrive at class. In the weather like now, very hot, maybe students didn’t want to cycle in the hot day. Besides, maybe for students who is 25 or above feel more ashamed when they cycle to class. In other hand, they are no parking to someone who is riding the bicycle. Beside that, there are no special road to someone who riding the bicycle. The most important is, there are no shop to someone can repair the bicycle when it is down. To contribute this problem, all the staff should ride the bicycle first, so all the students will feel more attract whey they see it. Then, make the alternative road to people who are riding the bicycle. Plant many trees to make the weather is not too hot, so student can cycle to around the college. Besides, make a competition involve the bicycle. The Dean or rector can sponsor a few bicycle to the students who get a dean award. Dean can make a fine who are using the other transport to the class. Compare to the other IPT, our college is near the factory. Our pollution is not good enough. Earth is important to us. We have to care it even we have to face the difficulties to protect it. We also have to protect earth for our heritage in the future. Nowadays many people realize how important to protect earth but they don’t know the way to protect it. As we know, many higher learning institutions make many ways to green world back. As example, some of the higher learning educations make their campus as bicycle campus. I have three ideas how to contribute to TATIUC’s campus. It is plant tree, make campaign to realize TATIUC’s students and put recycle bin around the campus.
Firstly, plant trees around the campus to make the campus green. It is not just make TATIUC’s green but it also give students fresh environment in the campus. It is good for them to perform better in the class because they get the fresh environment. It not just saving the world but also helps the student to get the health life.
Secondly is what I can do make a campaign in the campus. The campaign is focus on how the student can save the earth. We can make the campaign through give talk to the students about how to save the world, through TATIUC’s website, and many more. The campaign is important to look the result not just for now but also in the future.
Last but not least by put recycle bin around the campus. To educate people not just by tell them but also by practical. Recycle bin usually have three color. It can help students how to recognize which place to put plastic, paper and other rubbish in the dustbin. It can help TATIUC’s to be always clean. It needs TATIUC’s administrative to think about this recycle bin and I just can suggest it.
In the nutshell, all people need to involve in this effort to save the world. The global warming that happens now is not happen by itself but by human hand. So that, we have to realize to what happen to our world now and together to save the world not just now but in the future.

What is a bicycle??? Say students at TATi. This because the students think uses a bicycle like children. Bicycle no need a license to ride and all of people can ride it. They not use a bicycle in campus because they are lazy. Ride a bicycle make them tired and cause they not has spirit to study when arrive at class. Bring a bicycle also waste time and cause them came late to class. Ride a bicycle needs a much of energy. When the day are raining, it difficult them to ride a bicycle and make them wet because of raining. They also shy with another friend especially with the girl if they ride a bicycle. Student at tati also not have a bicyle. Furthermore, student at TATi normally are rich and they can afford a transport. This is wrong. We can see at Japan their technology is higher and rich but they use a bicycle for a transport. At every weekend make a competition. We know every week student at TATi will back to village and cause not has student at there. If make a competition probability the student back to village is smallest. Fourth, create a law that the student cannot use the other transport besides bicycle. It causes a student no choice and they will use a bicycle. Fifth, not allow a car or motorcycle move in campus. Give the higher compound to student who not cares about this law. Sixth, not just for student, a lecturers or staff also must use a bicycle. This is because the student will follow the lecturer use a bicycle because the find and search the knowledge with the lecturer. Seven, create a shop to repair a bicycle in campus of TATi. It make student easy to repair their bicycle. We know all of thing will break down. Eight, make a program and camp to enlighten the student about the pollution in earth. We know, around the TATi have many factory and it produce the pollution. So for the best way, the student not needs to increase the pollution and reduce it with use a bicycle. I agree with this topic because most of students in Tatiuc are ashamed to use bicycles on campus and likes to used vehicles such as motorcycles or cars. they do not realize that more pollution will occur, such as noise, air and environmental pollution. Today, other university are commonly practice this habit in the campus, but difference at TATiUC. One should determine the factors that makes student don’t want to cycle at the campus. Maybe in TATiUC also keen doing their bits on saving the earth, but not by doing a cycling. Many things can do to save our earth. Here are some strategies that can contribute to increase the values of student cycle in the campus there are, provide the bicycle to students, bicycle competition, week for cycling, limit the uses of car or motorcycle in the campus area, makes a cycling as the new rules of the institute, campaign to students, also make a programmers for talking about the advantages and disadvantages when cycling and so on. Firstly the institute should makes a facilities with provide a bicycle to student used. For example, institute department can provide sum of money for a special purpose like buy a bicycle and give the student for free or the institute. If the institute gives the student a free bicycle, of course students don’t have any problem to practice this habit in campus area. Students will try to win in the competition, so they need to use bicycle and automatically they became a new rider. On that week, not only students, but all staff in the campus area need to cycle in the campus area. Others are with limit the uses of vehicles in the campus. Make sure only the lecture can use the vehicles in the campus area. Not only limit the uses of vehicles, but also limit the place which can use vehicle. A track for cycling is provided and a strategic parking like nearest the class or library is given. The institute department needs to plant a tree along the track and in the campus area. Trees can remove large quantities of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Planting a tree also can avoid from heat directly touch a skin. This makes planting a tree an effective way to make a bicycle user more comfortable, while cycling.
Then, campaign also need to make the students realizes about the advantages when used a bicycle. The campaign is to make students more interest to cycle, to suggest that people stop driving and riding a motorcycle and also to raising a generation that respects and protects the environment. If the student considers driving or riding a motorcycle, a security will consider it as break a law. This habitual action need to practice for each student and all the staff. We always heard that save the earth by recycle the things that around us. Cycling to move around the campus? Its interesting thing to say but to achieve by all students doing it, I think it is very hard to accomplish. Student at college is already an adult person. Since I study in TATiUC, I had never seen students, employees, staffs or any lecturers cycling bicycles inside this campus. This may be due to the Tatiuc itself does not emphasize the use of bicycles on campus. Can we imagine the uses of bicycle are higher in our campus? I can see our campus become happening and lively. At the same time we can keep clean air and reduced sound pollution. Many higher learning institutions now keen in doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus. It’s not impossible for our campus to do this. What can I contribute for this issues is every vehicle must be parking outside the campus accept important case. This will make student familiar with cycling. Other than that, create track for cycling inside campus. It make easy for student to cycling. Create a cycling club is one of the way to attract students. Who is the conduct for this club must be expert in cycling. They may know how to run any cycling activity. From this club, cycling activity can be well done and attract student involved in cycling and at the same time getting health life style. First of all, i want to suggest we make a forum to realize tatiuc student n staff about the dangerous of smoke by vehicle to environment of tatiuc and also human here. as we known the exhaust by vehicle contains some know carcinogens and hazardous material. And for your information that exhaust contains 38 other component that are hazardous pollutants listed by the EPA (the U.S environment protection agency. The fact below that i want to share with you about the hazardous material that contain in vehicle smoke and it effect to us.
Back to the question 3, I suggest that we can create club for cycling, and all that member of club must using bicycle as their main transport in tatiuc area. So that other people see will not ashamed to follow that good way for saving our earth.
Furthermore I also suggest to our HEPA to provide rent bicycle for student. So that we can exercise at evening by enjoy the exotic scenery and fresh air in tatiuc. To Farhan - I think they should make the rental system with low price because, it will not burden any student to use the bicycle. Beside that, income from the rental, they can use for cycling facilities..such as made cycling track or it's spare parts.

There are so many ways that we as a student are of TATiUC could contribute for our environment. One of the ways that is very easy and simple is just by savings the electrical usage in the campus, or even in the hostel. Worldwide also had put and effort for this kind of contribution by naming the day on 26th March as an Earth Hour day! Only by switch off lights and also by turn off anything that can opposed to the heat up the environment around us. By switch off the lights and everything that heat up the situation nowadays could also minimize the air pollution that become more and more thin. It also makes the layer of the ozone become thinner day by days. Because of this facts, we as students must learn and discipline ourselves to always switch off the lights or even the electrical in our hostel or in campus. Studies shows that, exposure to air pollution in the womb can significantly reduce a child's IQ, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Mailman School of Public Health in New York and published in the journal Pediatrics. The researchers conducted the experiment on pregnant, non-smoking black and Dominican American women between the ages of 18 and 35 who were living in the New York City neighborhoods of Harlem, South Bronx or Washington Heights. The participants wore personal air monitors during pregnancy, providing the researchers accurate data on the women's exposure to a class of air pollutants known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The participant's children were then subjected to standardized IQ tests at age five.
"These results provide evidence that environmental PAHs at levels encountered in New York City air can affect children's IQ adversely," the researchers concluded.
PAHs are produced by the burning of fossil fuels and other organic materials, including tobacco. The major source of PAH pollution in urban areas is automobile exhaust. Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles, and electronics. Materials to be recycled are either brought to a collection center or picked up from the curbside, then sorted, cleaned, and reprocessed into new materials bound for manufacturing. It is so easy to do, but why does every students and staff is hardly to practice it? I suggest for whom that did not throw their rubbish inside the recycle bin should be fined. Do you want to cycle in the TATIUC campus? If you all say no, cycling still do not contibute anything on saving our earth. To achive any way to saving our earth the first thing that we need is to give fully support all the activities done and not just provide a variety of opinions. For example, if we just only provide bicycle system TATIUC campus and all person still use vehicle that using petrol and diesel it still does not give any meaning. Various other ways that we can do to contribute on saving the world.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Make it a habit to reduce the things we need or we consume. Purchase only things that we only need and eat only what you can. Let us do our share not to be part of the problem or should I say part of the garbage problem. Reuse all the things that can still be repaired or those things that are still good. Recycle things to conserve our resources, collect old newspapers, books, magazines, used papers, bottles (plastic and glass), and any other things that you could sell in junkyards. There is money in garbage and at the same time we’re doing our part in recycling process.
Don't use paper / plastic plates, utensils.
By using disposable utensils and plates, we are contributing to the landfills with extra trash. Sure, it's way easier to throw away your dishes and utensils after a meal then to wash it, but let's face it, it's not only cheaper to use reusable dishware but it's also more eco-friendly.
In fact, many more steps we can do on campus to save the world. But, all this will not succeed unless we all do not realize the importance of protecting the environment for future generations. So I hope everyone will play their respective roles for the prosperity of us all.
In my opinion cycling around campus is wonderful idea because is not just saving our earth but also saving money and energy, but Tati student is different they feel ride bicycle is very shame thing to do they rather walk than ride. Yes, cycling is one of the best way that we can do to save the Earth. In order to reduce the concentration of harmful gases in our atmosphere, cycling can become the best way that may contribute to the reduction of Green House Effect. The usage of vehicles can cause air pollution. Not only that, gases that came out from our vehicles can increase the Earth temperature. This may lead to the increment in Earth pollution.
Reducing the Earth temperature is the first step that we can do. First of all, reduce the concentration of harmful gases. Harmful gases cause the increment in Earth temperature. Planting more trees along the road can avoid this from happen. Besides, trees produce useful gases such as oxygen that useful to all living things.
Second, by cycling around the campus, we can save our money. No need to pay for the patrol. It also can make people become healthier. This helps in two ways, prevents air pollution and reduce the usage of our own money. If you are going to a nearby place, go by walking or use bicycle, instead of using your vehicle. The reason is to minimize the use of fuels, as far as possible.
Besides that, saving energy will help to prevent air pollution. Switch off the lights, fans, air conditioners, televisions, and other appliances, when not in use. You can also share a room with others when the air conditioner or fan is on, instead of switching them on in every room.
In conclusion, the best way that we can do to avoid Earth pollution is by reducing the amount of harmful gases in our environment and keep the stability of Earth temperature by cycling, planting trees, and saving the energy.

According to the statement above, I would like to share a few of my opinion about that. First of all, we already know about the perception of all respondand in TATiUC that the student most prefer in using vehicle such as motorcycle and car mostly for the student that have their own vehicle. Meanwhile to the student that didn’t have that opportunity were only walking thru the class. There were a few reasons why they were acted like that. Usually they were thinking of using a bicycle such a childish style. For instance, when they were student at secondary school, they already used that staff. Student of TATiUC, eventually know, when they were using that they will be mock by others that thinks differently. For me also, I wouldn’t prefer using bicycle to the class because of the distance between class and hostel isn’t far as people think. For the student at Pupuk Semangat hostel usually went to the class or campus using motorcycle , car, or bus that provided by TATiUC. For me also, by walking thru the class we can make some exercises that give benefit for our health. With the technology were having today, student were easily can get what they wont. So that, using bicycle wouldn’t suit to their flavor. Meanwhile for the boy’s student,they think that by using bicycle someone didn’t look “high class” and didn’t look attractive for girl’s student. In my opinion I suggest that for TATiUC deapertment needed to provide free bicycle services to attract student in using bicycle to the class. For this topic, to compare the campaign of saving the earth with other higher institution, it is no doubt that other universities have preceded our college in implementing the many method to their student for saving green environment by practices cycling habits around on their campus, but I think in our college, we also have practices the method for saving our nature long time ago like walking habits that we often doing in our campus. It is not just cycling method that we can uses in orders to save our natural environment but we also can practice walking method because the effect of both cycling and walking method is the same to our environment. At TATIUC, many student seeing just walking than uses a bicycle to going around and for examples, we often seeing many of our students just walking from their hostel to go their class or workshop because our college area is not that larger like other high institution area.From this side of view, beside of cycling method, walking is also very practical way that we can use to go around in our college because it also can save our natural environment like cycling method. I agree with Mrs Sara’s statement to saving our earth by cycling as way of getting a round campus. But it same different with TATIUC campus. Firstly, TATIUC can do a camping to promote to our student cycling a bicycle everyday. Although, they don’t want to cycling every time but they must cycling about 2 to 3 times a day. In this camping also, we can tell them about the advantage of cycling. Secondly, our college also must take a alternative to get more bicycle to student. In tatiuc still less emphasis on the problem of global warming caused by smoke from a vehicle on campus. This is because the tatiuc not concerned about the use of vehicles on campus. Vehicle use would lead to the production of carbon dioxide and gases that deplete the ozone layer.
According to the topics we discussed this, the tatiuc still not focused on or take appropriate action on problems facing the earth today. Probably because the tatiuc not noticed the problem the use of private vehicles will bring students to a class of problems. tatiuc consider whether the use of bicycles in the other university hostel because of factors that are far from academic buildings, the situation is very different in tatiuc a hostel and academic building not too far for students to go.
I propose that the tatiuc to provide a bicycle which can be rented by students to reduce the emission of smoke, to preserve our earth. To solve this problem, the tatiuc can enforce regulations on the use of bicycles on campus.
So far, I look at hostel block H there is only one student who have a bicycle here. I see a lot of motor vehicles in the motor park either at the motor park hostel block H, Block J, Block K, Block L nor in the dormitory block A, B, C, and D. Sometimes it is not fit to park the motor because of the motor park is full. If we look at the new hostel, so many cars till the road become narrow. We can get rid of this congestion by encouraging TATiUC’s students to cycling. TATiUC may be creating a culture without petrol.
Cycling culture is not childish but the most practical way to reduce carbon emissions and to nourish the body and overcome the problem of traffic congestion around the campus. As scholars, the TATiUC campus community should be exemplary in change the minds and sustainable lifestyle in an effort to address global warming. Some universities have been implementing such practices, and received overwhelming response from campus residents, including management and teaching staff.

To me, other way to saving our earth beside suggested our student and staff to cycling in campus is suggested to TATIUC management to follow what are Australia national do right now. They do “campaign 1 person 1 plant” to decrease the problem of global warming. Plants are an important element in process to decrease the earth problem like global warming, landslide and others. So, if we also do what they are having done, we can help to saving our earth too from global warming and other problems. The that campaign also interesting because it not only can be the way to saving our earth but it also can make our college looks more naturally with the plants and being like a landscape if trees are planted with stacked certain places.
Next, suggested to our college to prepare more bin especially recycle bin in campus and put at the place that have potential to student to throw out the rubbish like area of food court. If more recycle bin are prepared, the problem of environment pollution will be decrease although just in our campus. We are studying in TATIUC also necessary and may practice how to save the earth and the environment from pollution and damage. Earth is threatened by the measures we have to prevent that from happening take destruction of the earth around us. Without us realizing we are contributing to the destruction of our environment. In pursuit of progress, we need to keep a balance in the use of all resources. Hills, soil, rivers, sea, air and everything should be utilized without affecting the position of they. Activity manufacturing, logging and similar be governed wisely and not throw around just because of toxic waste have waste that can be harmful to life no matter the form of gas, liquid or solid. Among the measures that we can do in order to safeguard the environment is to replant trees. Earth hour programs for such a light has gone out for an hour in line to save 284 300megawatt trees and clean air for 568 persons. Additionally, avoid using a vehicle, if the designated location is near the use of bicycles or on foot to avoid the smoke that can deplete levels of vehicle ozone .Together let us save our earth, for now and future generations. What Miss Sara state it is true really agree with the statement that many other universities has long been using bicycles as their main alternative to go to class but different in TATiUC, because the students here do not use bicycles for their main alternative. TATiUC students may not use the bicycle for a distance of classrooms and dormitories feel too close and easier to walk away from cycling. Bike culture is not a bad idea but the most practical way to reduce carbon emissions in addition to nourish the body and overcome the problem of traffic congestion around the campus. To contribute, I suggested several measures to protect the environment such as cycling activities should be initiated by the energy of students, especially those as important in TATiUC like the counselor or vice-counselor, students may also feel like cycling along Counselor. TATiUC also need to set up their own cycling club, and include extra-curricular activities are part of TATiUC curricular. When it is established, the club must always hold activities to attract more people to join this club and that club are not dissolved. Government should remove provisions to ensure the success of this agenda as did the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson who will allocate RM556 million to encourage people to use bicycles in the city. TATiUC Management should create bike lanes and bike parking at strategic locations such as classrooms, lecture hall and library. yes, cycling is one of the way to save our earth and can avoid from pollution.if you guys take a look other university or college some of them is using bicycle in the campus because thats is the easy transport for them to use in the campus. its not just can avoid from pollution but it also does not have to be a big parking to be park for it and it does not have to use petrol also. But is hard to see our student using bicycle in the campus because some of them are ashame of themselves or ashame with their other friend that have a car or motorcycle. Most are the international student are using the bicycle in campus because they have a different thinking. Like in TATiUC, most of their student are using car or motorcycle. According to Rozi, I think that it is pretty good if we build up a "Cycling Club". But, it is not easy to change our students culture/perception about cycling.
Zaza, I think that why don't we start with the first step. Why don't all of us (2BMET) start cycling? Let us be the role model for others. We slowly persuade others? Don't ask people to do thing to us. We did it first, if they are still care about our Earth, they will change their mind.
I would like to share my story at the time I was in UNMC (University of Nottingham). I used to cycle to class/lab/cafe. We are not allowed to drive to the class. There are divided to two zones, non-carbon monoxide and open zone. All the vehicles need to park at the provided parking space. The speciality about UNMC is the landscape of the campus. If we are cycling to the class we can see the nice view around the campus passed by the fountain, lake and cycle along the bridge. It is go green campus. It is very relaxing and enjoyable.
When we talking about cycling in TATIUC, that’s is a good idea. Besides the TATIUC student can avoid the pollution, they also can save their money from fuel. But for me, that’s is not too good idea because I live at Pupuk Semangat, it’s too far from colleges. If I go colleges by cycling, maybe it takes 30 minutes to reach there. Maybe this problem can be solve if I go 30 minutes early from class start, but how I can study if I in tired.This idea only can done for TATIUC student who is live in TATIUC hostel. I think, whose student live in TATIUC colleges still don’t want cycling if they need to expend their money pocket to buy bicycle. So TATIUC must expend a budget to buy bicycle. For girl student, not all girl in TATIUC like wear jeans, a few of them like to wear Baju Kurung. That’s is not easy for a girl wearing Baju Kurung to cycling.
cycling...an alternative way to maintain our health during studying.when we cycling,almost all part of muscles in our body moved.rather than using car or motorcycle that cause sound and air pollutions.some motorcycles produce high pitch of sound that give effect to our brain.the sound also make student lost the focus in the class.so cyling is better to reduce sound pollution.for air pollutions,the smoke emitted from the exhaust pipe are harmful although it give long term effects.not only smoke produced,when riding on sandy surface the dust will disperse to the air and effect our breathing system.cycling is slower than riding a motorcycle and that will not disperse the dust.there a lot of advantages from cycling but this activity depends on some factors.some of them is weather,do student want to cycle in such a hot and rainy day?campus should build some facility such as roofed path for bicycle.but it might cost a lot of budget to renovate the surrounding.this is why student here not prefer cycling.

for me,it is quite difficult to persuade TATiUC students to use the bicycle as a method of reducing the air polution instead of using motorcycles and cars. But we can reduce the amount of the carbon monoxide inside the TATiUC by decreasing the frequently user transport that release carbon monoxide gas.this can be carried out if we provide such cafe that can be used as a medium for students to spend time while waiting for another class.I agree with Lokman, most of us are embarrassed to use the bicycle as a vehicle to the classroom, especially for women. they would be uncomfortable because they are wearing baju kurung. for a man, they are so embarrassed to be considered as low standard when carrying a bicycle instead of motorcycles.this is not about cycling track.The tatiuc now is available to students to use the road around campus to cycle although without cycling track.this all depend on us. take it or leave it
Tq rhenita.I think your idea to make a campaign is the good idea. But is it the campaign like this will successful in our college? I think, the dean or lecturer should make this as their second job. Show to the student that it is their effort. The most brilliant idea from me is, all the lecturer should cycle first in the college.
In my view, to reduce contamination of our planet, especially in college TATIUC is: the first is to highlight the recycling campaign, we as students need to participate in the realization of this campaign. the second we need to reduce open burning because the smoke from burning may be depleting the ozone layer and is somewhat dangerous to people on earth. in addition, to minimize this problem, we can reduce the use of vehicles, using public transport or bicycles may also be due to emission also contribute to ozone depletion.

Cycling is one of the best way that we can do to save the Earth. In order to reduce the concentration of harmful gases in our atmosphere, cycling can become the best way that may contribute to the reduction of Green House Effect. The usage of vehicles can cause air pollution.
We can go green by limiting the amount of driving. This campaign are should be as a regularly campaign to make sure awareness of the student and also to remember the student about saving an environment of the world is important.
I really want to change the lifestyle of our society by moving activities by cycling and the lastly is the most important thing in saving our earth and also the cooperation by the students and also by the lecturer’ s of TATiUC.
In my opinion, majority of student, that got MARA loan do spend their money to buy motorcycle rather then bycycle. This is because of their mentality to life in easy way. Effects of motor vehicles that cause pollution to the earth lack of awareness among the students TATiUC than in Japan. I got many the advantage of cyling..: 1) it can increase the level of health 2) It can reduce pollution 3) It can create health environments 4) NO need to spend money for fuel 5) No need to get bicycle license
But to make it happen, i need strategies for this issue:- 1) Make cycling competition 2) Provide cycling track 3) Admin and staff must do this first as to encourage 4) Enter the syllabus for curriculum subject 5) Event the "Cycling Day" and motivate to student about important use bicycle between motor/motorcar in campus
I agree with the statement above but we cannot just compare our College with other huge university and college because we are a new born institute. By then, the total of student that doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus here is too little compared by other university. It is a simple mathematics theory. Here I give the example:

1- Proclaim the law on environmental pollution in TATiUC campus
2- Create a club of Saving The Earth or Cycling Club at TATiUC and organize an activity that can maintain the awareness of student about the importance of keep the environment clean and healthy.
3- Use this club as one of co-curriculum activity that compulsory to be taken by every fresh student (new student).
4- Provide a cycling track for student to do cycling activity every weekend.
5- Organize a cycling competition.
6- Organize a competition of Lighties and Hardest Bicycle or others at TATiUC that can attract student to involve on creating a healthy environment around TATiUC.

Saving the earth by cycling in TATIUC’s campus? It seems more like a fantasy to be happening in TATIUC. There are several factors that make the idea hard to achieve.
First, it’s hard for the students to bring their bicycle to the campus if they had any. Then there is this thing called ego within the students itself that make them feel ashamed to ride a bicycle around campus. Other factor are maybe the students are too lazy to cycle because its tires them. That’s why students prefer motorcycle or car as a transport because it’s fast and not tiring.
To encourage students to cycle, TATIUC need to provide free bicycle for student’s usage. But it’s not like 1 bicycle for 1 student, just like 50-100 bicycle for free rental. Then do a campaign or a competition to make them more interested to cycle around campus.
What can I do to contribute? Well one thing for sure that I don’t have any car or motorcycle plus I walk to get around the campus.

How to saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around at TATiUC? Cycling is the most rewarding mode of transport to use to get to campus as it helps individuals to be healthy and save money. Bikes also use fewer resources to function and keep maintained, and emit less pollution, all of which contribute to a cleaner environment. Walk or ride a bicycle to class and everywhere you can. For your information, you can reduce greenhouse gases while burning calories and improving your health. If you cannot walk or ride a bicycle, is sharing the car with your friends. Each car can bring down a big change on Earth. Besides that, create a club "love the earth" in TATiUC and set an activity to keep students' awareness about the importance of the environment in and outside the campus TATiUC. We can also create an awareness campaign about the thin layer of earth's atmosphere with the people who do not know how to keep the earth properly. In my opinion, bicycle is one of the vehicle that people around the world use it as the transport. For example Japanese people use the bicycle as their main transport in their daily life. They use the bicycle to go to school, work, shop and so on. Actually, the uses of bicycle was started a long a go but people did not realize it. Malaysia also use a bicycle as one of the transport such as police traffic department use a bicycle when they do patrolling in their routine daily. It is become more easier to them compare they use a bike.
I have done some research about using a bicycle around university or campus by asking my friends who studying at different place. They said, at their campus only a few student who use the bicycle as their transport to go to class or another places. It shows that uses of bicycle as a way of getting around campus still in lower level. So, I have a few recommendation to contribute this problems among the student in higher learning institutions especially at TATiUC, campus. There are :
Organize a cycling marathon among the TATiUC’s Students
Do the cycling month – all student and staff of TATiUC must to participates.
Built Cycling Club
Make a talk about advantages uses of bicycle around the campus.
The advantages of cycling as a way of getting around campus are :
Can reduce air pollution – other vehicle donate a lot of dangerous smoke that release to the air.
Can safe our earth from green house effect.
Make our body become more healthy – cycling is one of the best way to exercise and
burning calories in your body
Safe our money – we don’t have to spend a lot of money to bicycle because we don’t need to by petrol oil
The conclusion is, cycling have give a lot of advantages in our life as a student. So, it is the time to think what is the best way and give more benefit to us as a student.

They think cycle in our campus is embarrassing to them if they cycle in our campus. Our TATIUC admin must have talk to our student about benefit if they cycle for our health and our environment.
If they cycle everyday go for class or work they can reduce pocket money. They can save their pocket money into bank or used if they really need for study.
Cycle can make their health healthy. It is because fat in our body can burn when cycle. It shown when sweat out during cycle.
Lastly cycle is gave us a lots of advantages for student. So I think student must cycle if they want their life good and save money.

ReplyDeletei wonder how its like if our lecturers go from class to class by cycling..huhuhu...good idea by zaimir..i think we can start saving the environment starting from the cafe..besides using polystyrene and plastics bags,how about just use paper to wrap food and paper bags to carry it or they can just bring their own tupperware..hahaha..plastics usually take longer time to banish..next,we need to prepare a recycle bin for each academic or hostel building and hopefully tatiuc students will use it wisely..once or twice a month,tatiuc can make a recycle day for whole student and staff,make a rule that each one of them must bring at least one stuff to be recycle...another way to save environment is just forbid male student from smoking in campus..if they smokes in their room, put a smoke detector..huhu...besides,student can get influence a lot by older people behave..so all lecturers and staff also must give a good example for students and it is up to student actually tu change themselves...ty..

Greetings to all visitors to the blog Miss-sufficiency. I feel this topic is very interesting to me to me to give some view me as a student TatiUc on how to save our planet today. In my opinion, too many ways that we can do to protect our earth layer. One way is to use the returned goods does not apply, although we do not want it anymore, but things are still eligible to apply, there are still many people who can use it. Toys are stored, books, and clothes, shoes (all types of clothing, something that is used). We can give them is not able to buy, such as charities, schools, care so they do not have to incur expenses to purchase a new one. Bukuboleh submitted to the local library or school, thus you are hero in helping to educate people. In addition, we can save the earth by using a repair and reuse. Let us take care of the goods to be durable and long lasting. For example, by sewing the torn clothes, mend a torn book, bring shoes that damaged the cobbler, repairing the damaged electronic equipment and so forth.
While the third way which may guide us to do is change something into something else useful. Tell us that 2 / 3 of sampahkita can be recycled? To dispose of waste, means we have removed the material, time and energy that has made. Because the waste will continue to grow, such as any plastic that can not be left to rot so it can even be toxic to the earth. Some of that can be recycled such as glass, textiles, plastics, and paper. Fourth recycled material can only be done by the fabric, but we can own, such as waste recycling food waste for fertilizer manufacturing plant that is useful for us. While the view from my past to overcome this problem is a reduction in daily use, for example reduction in electricity consumption, electricity generated mostly from coal that was formed millions of years ago when the pre-history forest rot under the earth, a time coal will be exhausted. Burning coal causes pollution, now people are trying to create a pollution-free electricity from sun light (solar), wind and waves of other examples are Ombak.dan reduce gasoline fuel consumption, on foot, bicycle, nebeng (read: riding) a vehicle with other people / friends, riding public (go by bus, public transportation, or car). Gasoline cause air pollution! Gasoline produced from oil that comes from the millions of microscopic fossils of sea creatures, a day of crude oil supplies will be exhausted. It would be possible we will use the vehicles fueled with sun rays or wind.
Just this only I can share my views on the topic at this time. Hope all the students TatiUC together to prevent problems in the face of the earth, we now continue to spread causing no other way to solve it.

i agree with the Mrs Sara's topic.
Riding a bicycle is a great way to contribute to the preservation of our eco system and environment here on our great planet earth. Many people are concerned with pollution and many other things that damage and dissolve the ozone and cause the atmosphere to be dirty. If we all contributed with one small thing that we can change in our daily living routines to help with the protection of the earth, perhaps we could, as a collective, make a substantial impact for the better.
One way to go green and contribute to the preservation of our environment is sometimes riding a bicycle instead of starting up the car or motorcycle. Driving and operating vehicles is one thing that many countless people do on a daily basis that harms the environment.
Do not get me wrong because I do believe that driving, in most cases, is a necessity of life in this modern age. However, if we just dedicated one day or one short route to the use of bicycles and cycling as a method of transportation, it can, in a small way, make a big difference to the health of humans and other living beings, and also the health of the our home, the earth.
Cycling takes a measure, big or small depending on the length that we travel while cycling, of physical strength and endurance. It also takes a measure of determination and discipline. By trading a vehicle for a bicycle, even if it is just once or twice every so often, we are able to get some exercise. This gives us the opportunity to build stamina, strengthen our muscular structure, get an aerobic workout, and experience the mental clarity you are able to get while enjoying the great bicycle ride.
I suggest that such efforts made by all citizens TATIUC to show our spirit to save our beloved earth. we do not have to compare it with other institutions, but we need to think about our efforts to save the earth.

In my opinion, TATiUC’s campus is not large campus like other IPTA campus. TATiUC students and staffs may to contribute on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus. On the other hand, we can save our money, reduce the petrol usage, can exercise by cycling and save the green house effect. TATiUC can do campaign for cycling to class and give free bike for students. This may encourage students to cycling to class. Make some activities like competition that involve bike or make bike tour in Kemaman and create a cycling club. This may decrease the global warming in the earth because using the cars and motorcycles will increase the usage on petrol. Save our earth.

That’s why students prefer motorcycle or car as a transport because it’s fast and not tiring. To encourage students to cycle, TATIUC need to provide free bicycle for student’s usage. ReplyDeleteWhen I think about the world today, I find myself losing hope every once in a while. Are we going to make it at all? Look at the world. the worst form of virus has infected this planet, a virus that multiplies astronomically, kills anything and everything that can be killed, destroys or alters all else, does not even kill for hunger or survival but sometimes out of sheer fun killing and here’s the strangest bit. It kills its own kind and even itself. The virus is called human, and it is about to destroy the very planet it lives on.
Now imagine how the planet will look like 50 years from now as we continue ravaging our mother earth raping it and killing everything that comes on our way. Can you imagine? Can you see the difference?
So what do we do then? What is the solution? Are we going to survive at all?
I don’t know. I really don’t know what you are supposed to do. What I know is what I am going to do. I am going to keep writing in the blog or Facebook and keep telling whoever will listen to me awaken. At the same time, I will park my car outside the campus and cycling getting around the campus. I will tell my friends and my family, I will tell my lecturers and course mates that they are doing is KILLING the planet along with everything else that lives on it. Come, let’s cycling as a way by getting around campus on saving our earth.
Generally scientists today agree that the Earth is suffering from global warming and that we have to do something to curb our contribution to climate change. I will start showing my contribution with preparing a paper work to encourage all the community members in our campus to support “Divorce your Car! Ending the Love Affair with the Automobile”. The main points that I would like to express in my paper work is build up a cycle lane and set a new rule to encourage all the community members to cycle as a way by getting around campus. I am looking forward it if HEPA will consider to my paper work to seeing the new TATiUC’s campus with a new cycle lane. With the new rules such as provide a parking lot outside the campus, and start cycling as a way by getting around campus on the cycle lane. The rule can be start with cycling as a way by getting around campus for once a week and slowly promote it from days to days. In my opinion, since the population of our campus is not much (just around 2000 people) comparing to other higher learning institution, our campus might acquire an award for applying the concept of cycling as a way by getting around campus. With this idea, we may perhaps successfully promote our college university to public.
Currently where economic downturn is at its peak, all of us are trying to find ways to make a cut back. Along with our campus size, then cycling might be an excellent alternative for those who are physically healthy enough to go to work this way. Just consider how much a daily commute can amount to if you go to the class/office by car. We have to pay for our gasoline and perhaps have to pay car repair costs. Cycling on the other hand is absolutely free of charge! The only thing we need to have is a bicycle. When talking about “We need to have is a bicycle”? The price for a bicycle is not expensive, but not everyone wiling to buy it. The way to settle down this problem is we can provide more bicycle in the campus with working out to get the sponsorship.

Also, I will organize a “Green Campus Campaign” through my club, KRISTAC to persuade all the community members in the campus to alert about cycling as a way by getting around campus. Furthermore I want to be an Environmental Campaigner. I will join a Local Conservation Group. It may be planting trees around the campus, get out and meet like minded people who care enough to help save the earth.
In conclusion, get on your bike rather than drive to a class or office to get some exercise. Cycling keep you fit and help reduce the risk of heart disease and you can be out in the open air.

There are many activities or programs that have organized in all learning institutions whether in school, college, university, kindergarten or others to improve the awareness of saving the earth and environment. Now, many of higher learning institutions are keen in doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus. The importance and advantages of cycling for individual of environment cannot be overemphasized. This is one good way to live a greener lifestyle. In Japan, people prefer to use the bicycle as their main transport. As one of TATIUC`s student, the cycling activities are not activated an at low level among the students compared to other higher learning institutions. Behalf of the students, I can share some of my recommendations and suggestions about these issues. Firstly, we can organize the cycling campaign among the students. Make the talks and list down the advantages of using the bicycle in the campus. There are many of the advantages of cycling that we can share together with the students. One of the advantages is using the bicycle can save huge amount of our cost. By using the bicycle we need not to buy the petrol and the same time it will reduce the pollution to our environment because there is no fuel consumption that releases the hazardous gases. Besides, cycling also the best way to achieved good health and fitness. Some of facts say that an average cyclist that goes on biking everyday has a level of fitness of an individual that is ten years younger and with this level they reduce level of life threatening illness or diseases or even health problems. So, you don’t need any medical treatments. Cycling also enabling people who could not otherwise move easily to exercise to increase their physical fitness and stimulate fat metabolism and also contributes to weight reduction by burning energy. Other than that, cycling has a considerable relaxing effect due to its uniform, cyclic movement which stabilizes the physical and emotional functions of the body. This counteracts anxiety, depression and other psychological problems. So, we will feel more relax and can focus in our studies. Secondly, we can do cycling competition among the students every month. We can prepared the prizes as to the winner as the alternative to encouraged the students to participate. Thirdly, we can organize the cycling club. We can do the interesting activities outside and inside the campus. Then, TATIUC need to build the special place or track for cycling around the campus. The students can cycling during their free time or at evening after finished the class. Lastly,for students the can afford to buy the bicycle by themselves, we can make the system of renting the bicycles. They can use the bicycle for each semester with the little fees.

I agree with this topic. As a student in tatiuc, i see average students prefer transport as motorcycle and car. It seems different with other campus prefer cycling as a transport. With the use of motor vehicles every day we will experience air pollution and noise pollution. As we all know there is a great effort being made worldwide to counter act the alleged impact of the human footprint on the world's climate, the earth’s land, oceans, and atmosphere, as well as the health of the inhabitants destroying it! The largest sources of air pollution are transportation engines, industry and power generation, and solid waste. The fact is that Earth is dying and although there is no clear-cut solution to all the problems that face Earth but it is obvious that everyone has to play a part in conservation methods. There are many ways and methods to help Earth while being able to benefit ourselves at the same time other than a bicycle to the campus. For example, going to bed earlier not only helps to improve your health but decreasing the amount of global warming. Keep in mind that the extra time staying up requires electricity and these usually come from burning coals or natural gas which will result in global warming. Cycling instead of driving is another great way of conserving Earth. It not only provides us exercise but helps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which is a type of greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming

I strongly agree with your statement. We should carry out as a passenger who know and appreciate, not only know how to use. In the campus there are various types of vehicles moving in and out. Through the monitoring of the campus, the statistics show the highest fuel consumption of motorcycles and cars. The use of motorcycles majority of students. Clearly shows that air pollution can make various impacts on the environment. Use a lot of motor vehicle emissions causing many harmful gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and others that can affect the health of the campus community. The effect of pollution regulations, can affect human health, resulting in an overall reduction in haze and reduces the distance visibility.To prevent before its too late, cycling is one way to take care of this earth other than on foot. This measure is a lump sum has been making us adopt a healthy lifestyle. We do not have to feel embarrassed walking as a passenger who know to appreciate. Although many admit loving environment, but not many actually adopt conservation measures. Hope the relevant parties aware of the inadequacy of the TATiUC and to change this situation. I agree with that statement, we can conclude that riding is having benefit. It’s can save our environment from pollution and can protect the earth. At Tatiuc, we can see that student mostly use motorcycle and car as their transport. Some is walking but no one use bicycle as their transport. It’s because the students are lazy. They also don’t have bicycle. We can contribute it with another way such as make a program about riding in campus. There are advantage of riding like it is an environmentally friendly mode of transport, you save money on fuel by riding a bicycle, riding a bicycle is good for your health. Riding a bicycle at TATiUC campus as a way to conserve the earth? I’m not really sure it can be a reality at TATiUC campus as any other higher learning institutions did. In fact, it will seems very strange for me when seeing students especially the female students of TATiUC cycle to their class or somewhere else around of TATiUC.
However. it’s not an impossible thing for students and lecturers using the bicycles around the campus. As we can see, nowadays, the usage of motor vehicles is the major cause that lead to serious air pollution in Malaysia. It is possible for cycling at the campus if all the TATiUC students, lectures and also the staffs play their own role and cooperate each other to save our environment from being polluted by the hazardous gases contribute by the motor vehicles.
Personally, I think that the best way to encourage students of TATiUC to cycle around the campus is by providing bicycles for rent. To rent the bicycle, TATiUC higher management should charge only below RM1 for rent per day. I definitely sure that this way will not affect the financial of the students. I’m not really agree if TATiUC authorities give a free bike for each students as it will required a lot of amount of money to buy it of all.
The other alternative to enhance students to cycle is by providing a lot of ample free parking spaces only for bikes around the campus. Any parking space for motor vehicles should not provide at all in TATiUC. I’m sure this way will avoid the students and also the lecturers from using any motor vehicles.
Another way is by making a facility to repair bicycle such like a bicycle workshop. As we know, bicycle is not a long-distance vehicles, so if any broken or damage of the bicycle, they easily can repair their own bicycle only in the campus of TATiUC.
Campaign for using the bicycle around the campus should be organized by the TATiUC authorities. This way also can give awareness to the students on the importance to save the earth. If we don’t do this, who else can help to save our nature? It depends on us especially for the students like us in a mission to save the world. Lastly, save the earth, save the nature, save the world.

Cycling as way of getting around campus besides as the way to saving the world from the pollution, it also a way to have good habit doing it as an exercise. In TATIUC this activity have not practiced well and here is some suggestions what can I do to contribute it.
A cycling group can be the way in practicing it. By participated in this group the students with their own bikes are allowed to fix their bike on their way. Today, many teenagers around the world such as UK and Japan are cycling as a trend called as “Fixie”. They fix their bike to single speed and paint their bike with nice colour. Besides, cycling they are also doing some tricks with their ride. That’s was really awesome. So, a “Fixie” club will be an excellent way in practicing this cycling habit.
I’m also thinking in suggesting to the administration to conclude a bike to each students of TATIUC in their fee. That’s will be one of the way to practicing this cycling habit to each students in this college. Participated by all of the staffs and lectures to cycling around the campus also can be one of the excellent way to practicing it. That’s will be really nice when all of the occupants in this college riding their bike around it’s beautiful surrounding.
Besides that, some talk about in saving the world from pollution by cycling also can be held to all the TATIUC members by the administration. Enlighten them it also can be an exercise besides from avoiding the pollution. It also can avoid the shortage the parking place in the college and avoid any accidents around the college.

The practice green is actually easier than I thought. There are few things you can do every day to help reduce greenhouse gases and mitigate the harmful effects on the environment. The task to save the earth is not just a responsibility - it is an honor. We as students need to contribute and to prevent environmental pollution. The bike like in other research institutes, but most students does not want to Tatiuc cycling because nature of the ego or embarrassment to bike around campus. Students also do not think if they were to bring a vehicle like a motorcycle or a car can cause smoke pollution and environmental pollution. My opinion the club Tatiuc must establish green leaves or Cycling Club to address the problem of environmental pollution, the existence of such clubs to students the importance of exposure to meditate on the campus bike like the other university. Tatiuc should also ban the carrying of first year students in the campus with a vehicle such action is possible for students to bike to class. Campaigns can also bring awareness to students about the environment with the use of bicycles. The campus must also provide facilities to rent bicycles. At other universities provided a place of bicycles but in Tatiuc only provides a vehicle just like a car and etc, because the students did not dare to bike to class because they were worried they would be stolen bicycles.

I agree with this statement. As a TATIUC students, how we can save the world from pollution by using bicycles on campus. In Japan, people prefer to use bicycles than motor vehicles for the use of bicycles can solve the haze problem.
In TATIUC campus, the number of private vehicles in the research institutes is high and it may have an impact on the environment. This can increase the noise and air pollution. As students, the campus community should be an example of changing minds and sustainable lifestyle in an effort to address global warming.The practice of cycling on campus should be supported throughout the campus and spurred on by the campaigns and awareness programs on an ongoing basis in order to achieve this activity. By using the bike it can be good for health as well as protecting the environment and we also could save the money. Among the efforts for the success of this activity on campus is to provide free bicycles to campus, even if the sponsoring university staff are better because they embody the spirit of caring and friendship. The most practical bike culture and good for reducing carbon emissions in addition to maintain health and pollution problems.
As a campus community, environmental awareness should be emphasized because each campus has a role as a consumer and at the same time keeping role impacts resulting from human hands will not go back to the people and the various approaches should also be made to the environment the campus is always awake.

If we proceed with this kind of program how many of them will stay and co-operate and make this program successful? Are the employees or lecturers or staff all involve? And did the students also getting involve in this program?
In order to make this program or this kind of saving the world to success all of us have to co-operate together. Staffs or employees cannot just let the students to do whole the thing and students also have to think about their lecturers or staffs responsibility which outside their responsibility to campus. Let say if the campus organizes lots of program but there will no co-operative between all of us, this program will be deficient.
Besides that, all of us must be influenced the importance of taking care the green. It can be done by make it as the compulsory co-curricular activities and also exposed to them the badness of ignoring the usage of the green.

I agree with this question. Some of the other campus usually uses cycling around their campus to saving the earth but it’s very different in our campus of TATiUC. Why it is happen, we can see that almost lectures and students use their transport to go to the class or office. Why it is happen I also did not know but what I can says here is sometime I just saw a children’s in this campus that have using the cycling. Why there are not uses transports like the elders do? Maybe you all think that they are still young so they cannot have the transportation. It is true? What I can distribute here is our campus of TATiUC is located around with the factory with the bad environment. So, that’s why many of students and lectures using their transport to safe their healthy from this pollution. Although the cycling is a good activities to saving the earth but our healthy also do. Furthermore, if there is no factory surrounding campus, students and lectures also can get bad environment. Why I say that. It’s because in this campus have a chemical subject, so they cannot run from this pollution. These smokes become every where and every place.
So, how we can cycling on the campus in that ways. What I suggest is our campus must have some safe place to do these activities. With this place, students can get their release and also can safe the earth. In addition, TATiUC side must have some campaign that can be safe the earth. Every weekend these campaigns do the work co-operate between students and lectures to cleaning the area of campus. With this way, campus will become more comfortable and students can cycle every day.

ReplyDeleteI most of tatiuc students dont want to cycle or walk to class is because the weather condition..it is too hot..so to encourage the students to walk..there are several way we can do to save the nature by decreasing the usage of vehicle..
1st thing we can do to contribute is by planting as many trees as possible along the passageway of students from the hostel,to the faculty..the use of the tree is to shade the passageway..of course it is cheaper than building a concrete passageway...so there is no more problem for students to walk or cycle to the class under a tree shaded passageway..of course the air will be cooler and refreshing..
2nd way is to minimize a motor vehicle usage also by sharing the transport to go to class...students can join a carpool or a vanpool..but i think most of tatiuc students like some 'attention' by driving their own car..so its just a suggestion and maybe never gonna happen...haha....
other way students can contribute is to minimize the usage of paper...
for example:
1)if you have to copy a document,copy on both side of paper..
2)reuse paper item such as envelope or use recycle paper..
3)when eating,use a cloth napkin instead of paper one..
4)use reusable plate instead of disposable one..
All this step can minimize the paper usage and also can reduce the lumbering activity..when the trees is save,the earth also saved from other natural disaster like global warming,flood,soil erosion, and so on...
Whether we realize or not,we as student actually can contribute a lot to save the environment...

Riding a bicycle? In the weather like now? I’m sure that most of all students didn’t agree with that. All of this happens with this entire problem. First, with riding a bicycle, make some students feel more sleepy or tired when they arrive at class. In the weather like now, very hot, maybe students didn’t want to cycle in the hot day. Besides, maybe for students who is 25 or above feel more ashamed when they cycle to class. In other hand, they are no parking to someone who is riding the bicycle. Beside that, there are no special road to someone who riding the bicycle. The most important is, there are no shop to someone can repair the bicycle when it is down.
To contribute this problem, all the staff should ride the bicycle first, so all the students will feel more attract whey they see it. Then, make the alternative road to people who are riding the bicycle. Plant many trees to make the weather is not too hot, so student can cycle to around the college. Besides, make a competition involve the bicycle. The Dean or rector can sponsor a few bicycle to the students who get a dean award. Dean can make a fine who are using the other transport to the class. Compare to the other IPT, our college is near the factory. Our pollution is not good enough. So, with cycling, we can prevent the air pollution. Save Our Earth Now!

Earth is important to us. We have to care it even we have to face the difficulties to protect it. We also have to protect earth for our heritage in the future. Nowadays many people realize how important to protect earth but they don’t know the way to protect it. As we know, many higher learning institutions make many ways to green world back. As example, some of the higher learning educations make their campus as bicycle campus. I have three ideas how to contribute to TATIUC’s campus. It is plant tree, make campaign to realize TATIUC’s students and put recycle bin around the campus.
Firstly, plant trees around the campus to make the campus green. It is not just make TATIUC’s green but it also give students fresh environment in the campus. It is good for them to perform better in the class because they get the fresh environment. It not just saving the world but also helps the student to get the health life.
Secondly is what I can do make a campaign in the campus. The campaign is focus on how the student can save the earth. We can make the campaign through give talk to the students about how to save the world, through TATIUC’s website, and many more. The campaign is important to look the result not just for now but also in the future.
Last but not least by put recycle bin around the campus. To educate people not just by tell them but also by practical. Recycle bin usually have three color. It can help students how to recognize which place to put plastic, paper and other rubbish in the dustbin. It can help TATIUC’s to be always clean. It needs TATIUC’s administrative to think about this recycle bin and I just can suggest it.
In the nutshell, all people need to involve in this effort to save the world. The global warming that happens now is not happen by itself but by human hand. So that, we have to realize to what happen to our world now and together to save the world not just now but in the future.

What is a bicycle??? Say students at TATi. This because the students think uses a bicycle like children. Bicycle no need a license to ride and all of people can ride it. They not use a bicycle in campus because they are lazy. Ride a bicycle make them tired and cause they not has spirit to study when arrive at class. Bring a bicycle also waste time and cause them came late to class. Ride a bicycle needs a much of energy. When the day are raining, it difficult them to ride a bicycle and make them wet because of raining. They also shy with another friend especially with the girl if they ride a bicycle. Student at tati also not have a bicyle. Furthermore, student at TATi normally are rich and they can afford a transport. This is wrong. We can see at Japan their technology is higher and rich but they use a bicycle for a transport.
To contribute this problem first, TATi must build the track for a bicycle to easy the student ride a bicycle. Furthermore, build the track with roof because when the day is raining the user is not wet. Second, produce a bicycle for a student. It is impossible to give a bicycle for all of student. Give a one bicycle to 5 students. It saves the budget because not all of them have a same class. Third, make a club of cycling. It cause the student have spirit to ride a bicycle. At every weekend make a competition. We know every week student at TATi will back to village and cause not has student at there. If make a competition probability the student back to village is smallest. Fourth, create a law that the student cannot use the other transport besides bicycle. It causes a student no choice and they will use a bicycle. Fifth, not allow a car or motorcycle move in campus. Give the higher compound to student who not cares about this law. Sixth, not just for student, a lecturers or staff also must use a bicycle. This is because the student will follow the lecturer use a bicycle because the find and search the knowledge with the lecturer. Seven, create a shop to repair a bicycle in campus of TATi. It make student easy to repair their bicycle. We know all of thing will break down. Eight, make a program and camp to enlighten the student about the pollution in earth. We know, around the TATi have many factory and it produce the pollution. So for the best way, the student not needs to increase the pollution and reduce it with use a bicycle.

I agree with this topic because most of students in Tatiuc are ashamed to use bicycles on campus and likes to used vehicles such as motorcycles or cars. they do not realize that more pollution will occur, such as noise, air and environmental pollution. If we walk or use bicycles to class to healthy the body, revitalize the mind, relieve drowsiness and may lose weight for your body because it burn fat more quickly. Tatiuc management should provide a better healthy campaigns such as the convoy traveled district of bicycle riding. Encourage students to use bicycles around campus in tatiuc of the motor vehicle to avoid any pollution or accident in campus. In order, to determine safe routes through campus we went for a bike ride. Even if one Is not inclined to ride a bicycle to campus, everyone benefits from a decrease in the number of automobiles coming to campus. In addition, to the reduction in pollution and energy consumption fewer car means less congestion and a greater probability of finding a parking space.

However, it seems different at TATIUC's campus. I very agree to this statement from miss Sara. By cycling it can save earth and environment from any pollution such as sound and smoke. The student can breath easily without smoke that produced by cars, motorcycles and vans. It can make the student's education get improvement and not tension at all. The sounds that produced by vehicles also can disturb anybody either students or lecturer and also TATIUC staffs. Furthermore, there are some of advantages by cycling or bike. In a day and age when global warming and climate change is a much debated subject, many people have turned to bikes as their preferred method of transport. Those who wish to do their bit for the environment are opting to cycle to work rather than drive or get public transport. This is just one of the many benefits of bikes, you can get from here to there without worrying about the effect that it is having on the environment.
Not only are bikes better for the environment and more practical, but they are also much cheaper than running a car. With your car you have tax, insurance, MOT, petrol, repairs and other costs. However, with a bicycle you simply buy the one you like and that is it. Some people choose to have cars and bikes depending on where they need to travel. If this is the case then you will be surprised how much money you can save in petrol if you use your bike for short journeys.
One of the best things about bikes is the fact that cycling is a great method of exercise. On top of all the other benefits they offer you can stay fit at the same time. Simply cycling to and from work or to the shops everyday is enough to keep you happy and healthy.
Bikes can also create hours of fun. Bike rides with friends are a great way of exploring, keeping fit and having fun. Then, with cycling gave travel money by biking. If the switch is from a car this includes purchase price, gas, tires, fluids, insurance, maintenance, washing, parking and others. The can also improves self esteem and reduces air pollution. The bicyclist emit few poisonous gases. A four mile bicycle trip keeps about 15 pounds of pollutants out of the air we breathe.

However the time also be considered by students who always late to class. They might be late if go to class by bicycle. The last but not least is the students should think what have they choose for their better life and also the next generations to see the clean air and environment.

When you think of cycling, what comes to mind? Cycling in all venues, especially at university is needed because it is good habits. Today, other university are commonly practice this habit in the campus, but difference at TATiUC. One should determine the factors that makes student don’t want to cycle at the campus. If we know the factors, easily we can solve this condition. I agree with the statement by Miss Sara but not 100%. Maybe in TATiUC also keen doing their bits on saving the earth, but not by doing a cycling. Many things can do to save our earth.
Here are some strategies that can contribute to increase the values of student cycle in the campus there are, provide the bicycle to students, bicycle competition, week for cycling, limit the uses of car or motorcycle in the campus area, makes a cycling as the new rules of the institute, campaign to students, also make a programmers for talking about the advantages and disadvantages when cycling and so on.
Firstly the institute should makes a facilities with provide a bicycle to student used. For example, institute department can provide sum of money for a special purpose like buy a bicycle and give the student for free or the institute. If the institute gives the student a free bicycle, of course students don’t have any problem to practice this habit in campus area. But it will be more affective if the lecture also cycling in the campus area. Lecture can show a good lesson to student with cycling around the campus area to look the development of their student.
Generally, competition also can make student more interested to used bicycle. The institute can make competition in many type and categories. Students will try to win in the competition, so they need to use bicycle and automatically they became a new rider. Normally, the competition can make is to choose a most beautiful and unique bicycle at the campus. Then, the institute also can choose a week for every month to become it as cycling week. On that week, not only students, but all staff in the campus area need to cycle in the campus area.
Others are with limit the uses of vehicles in the campus. Make sure only the lecture can use the vehicles in the campus area. Not only limit the uses of vehicles, but also limit the place which can use vehicle. A track for cycling is provided and a strategic parking like nearest the class or library is given. The institute department needs to plant a tree along the track and in the campus area. Trees can remove large quantities of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Planting a tree also can avoid from heat directly touch a skin. This makes planting a tree an effective way to make a bicycle user more comfortable, while cycling.

The campaign is to make students more interest to cycle, to suggest that people stop driving and riding a motorcycle and also to raising a generation that respects and protects the environment. Get in the habit of riding your bike to local areas. Plus, you will get more exercise and feel better.
Lastly, invest in a good bicycle. If we want an environment for the next generation to enjoy, we must set examples now, of how not to squander our beautiful earth. Be conscious of all the small decisions you make in your everyday life that increase the total human impact on the planet. We can make a difference if we try.

At present, our planet is experiencing a serious problem of ozone depletion and can be considered at a critical stage. Actually, I agree with opinion miss sara about saving the earth by cycling. Thus, the cycle is one way to solve problems and save our planet. For me, when we do cycling we can get many benefits and advantages. Besides that, we can save our money. This is because when we ride our bikes, we do not need any money but we are using physical force against the over-powered vehicle that encourages us to use the money to buy petrol to make it move. Cycling is one of the tools to exercise and may cause us to keep in good health. In addition, we can safeguard the environment of smoke, smoke that can harm the environment and contribute to ozone depletion. Its interesting thing to say but to achieve by all students doing it, I think it is very hard to accomplish. Student at college is already an adult person. They (including me) rather walk than ride a bicycle because one reason, SHAME. Ride a bicycle when you already become a college student? It feels like a kid age 6 years old. What can I do to contribute? I think walk around the campus to go to the class is the first thing that I can contribute. The next thing is, I can contribute by recycle thing that can be recycle. Now I really like cycling because I really love the bike and feel importance of healthy and save green earth. However, our student still prefers using vehicles, whereas the short distance and can be reached by motor cycle or car. I really want to change the lifestyle TATIUC student by moving to cycling.Cycling can make body more vulnerable to disease and can make our tati more clean from air pollution. I think tatiUc need to make program cycling in campus and we all must participate in order to keep Environment healthy. Since I study in TATiUC, I had never seen students, employees, staffs or any lecturers cycling bicycles inside this campus. This may be due to the Tatiuc itself does not emphasize the use of bicycles on campus. Can we imagine the uses of bicycle are higher in our campus? I can see our campus become happening and lively. At the same time we can keep clean air and reduced sound pollution. Many higher learning institutions now keen in doing their bits on saving the earth by cycling as a way of getting around campus. It’s not impossible for our campus to do this. What can I contribute for this issues is every vehicle must be parking outside the campus accept important case. This will make student familiar with cycling. Other than that, create track for cycling inside campus. It make easy for student to cycling. Create a cycling club is one of the way to attract students. Who is the conduct for this club must be expert in cycling. They may know how to run any cycling activity. From this club, cycling activity can be well done and attract student involved in cycling and at the same time getting health life style. Tatiuc also needs to provide the bicycles with a specific rate for student’s usage. Maybe this is involved the usage of money. But, they can make a rental system with a low price. The last one is, must be prepared facilities for cycling activity such as, built bicycle shop that sold bicycle spare parts and repair the damaged bicycle..

In addition, cycling can give us health because it is a sport that is very nice to us.

First of all, i want to suggest we make a forum to realize tatiuc student n staff about the dangerous of smoke by vehicle to environment of tatiuc and also human here. as we known the exhaust by vehicle contains some know carcinogens and hazardous material. And for your information that exhaust contains 38 other component that are hazardous pollutants listed by the EPA (the U.S environment protection agency. The fact below that i want to share with you about the hazardous material that contain in vehicle smoke and it effect to us.
1) Non-cancerous - Respiratory ailments, Asthma, Headache, Runny eyes & nose, and Nausea
2)Carcinogenic - Increased risk of lung cancer
3)Mutagenic - Increased rate of mutations
Back to the question 3, I suggest that we can create club for cycling, and all that member of club must using bicycle as their main transport in tatiuc area. So that other people see will not ashamed to follow that good way for saving our earth.
Furthermore I also suggest to our HEPA to provide rent bicycle for student. So that we can exercise at evening by enjoy the exotic scenery and fresh air in tatiuc. That can make more student interested for cycling without realize that also can saving our earth from environment pollution. And also good for our body.

There are so many ways that we as a student are of TATiUC could contribute for our environment. One of the ways that is very easy and simple is just by savings the electrical usage in the campus, or even in the hostel. Worldwide also had put and effort for this kind of contribution by naming the day on 26th March as an Earth Hour day! Only by switch off lights and also by turn off anything that can opposed to the heat up the environment around us.
By switch off the lights and everything that heat up the situation nowadays could also minimize the air pollution that become more and more thin. It also makes the layer of the ozone become thinner day by days. Because of this facts, we as students must learn and discipline ourselves to always switch off the lights or even the electrical in our hostel or in campus. Studies shows that, exposure to air pollution in the womb can significantly reduce a child's IQ, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Mailman School of Public Health in New York and published in the journal Pediatrics. The researchers conducted the experiment on pregnant, non-smoking black and Dominican American women between the ages of 18 and 35 who were living in the New York City neighborhoods of Harlem, South Bronx or Washington Heights. The participants wore personal air monitors during pregnancy, providing the researchers accurate data on the women's exposure to a class of air pollutants known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The participant's children were then subjected to standardized IQ tests at age five.
"These results provide evidence that environmental PAHs at levels encountered in New York City air can affect children's IQ adversely," the researchers concluded.
PAHs are produced by the burning of fossil fuels and other organic materials, including tobacco. The major source of PAH pollution in urban areas is automobile exhaust.

It is so easy to do, but why does every students and staff is hardly to practice it?

Do you want to cycle in the TATIUC campus? If you all say no, cycling still do not contibute anything on saving our earth. To achive any way to saving our earth the first thing that we need is to give fully support all the activities done and not just provide a variety of opinions. For example, if we just only provide bicycle system TATIUC campus and all person still use vehicle that using petrol and diesel it still does not give any meaning. Various other ways that we can do to contribute on saving the world.
Plant a Tree Around Campus
Trees can, over time, remove large quantites of carbon dioxide (the main "greenhouse gas") from the atmosphere. This makes planting a tree an effective way to fight the greenhouse effect. And its easier than you think. For those who said the planting of trees will produce waste that is absurd if we know how to keep it.
Adjust The Air Conditioner
Adjust your thermostat one degree higher in the summer and one degree cooler in the monsoon. Each degree celsius less will save about 10% on your energy use! In addition, invest in a programmable thermostat which allows you to regulate temperature based on the times you are at home or away.
Turn Off Light
Always turn off incandescent bulbs when we leave a room. Fluorescent bulbs are more affected by the number of times it is switched on and off, so turn them off when we leave a room for 15 minutes or more. We will save energy on the bulb itself, but also on cooling costs, as lights contribute heat to a room.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Make it a habit to reduce the things we need or we consume. Purchase only things that we only need and eat only what you can. Let us do our share not to be part of the problem or should I say part of the garbage problem. Reuse all the things that can still be repaired or those things that are still good. Recycle things to conserve our resources, collect old newspapers, books, magazines, used papers, bottles (plastic and glass), and any other things that you could sell in junkyards. There is money in garbage and at the same time we’re doing our part in recycling process.
Don't use paper / plastic plates, utensils.
By using disposable utensils and plates, we are contributing to the landfills with extra trash. Sure, it's way easier to throw away your dishes and utensils after a meal then to wash it, but let's face it, it's not only cheaper to use reusable dishware but it's also more eco-friendly.
In fact, many more steps we can do on campus to save the world. But, all this will not succeed unless we all do not realize the importance of protecting the environment for future generations. So I hope everyone will play their respective roles for the prosperity of us all.

What can we do to contribute?
Yes, cycling is one of the best way that we can do to save the Earth. In order to reduce the concentration of harmful gases in our atmosphere, cycling can become the best way that may contribute to the reduction of Green House Effect. The usage of vehicles can cause air pollution. Not only that, gases that came out from our vehicles can increase the Earth temperature. This may lead to the increment in Earth pollution.
Reducing the Earth temperature is the first step that we can do. First of all, reduce the concentration of harmful gases. Harmful gases cause the increment in Earth temperature. Planting more trees along the road can avoid this from happen. Besides, trees produce useful gases such as oxygen that useful to all living things.
Second, by cycling around the campus, we can save our money. No need to pay for the patrol. It also can make people become healthier. This helps in two ways, prevents air pollution and reduce the usage of our own money. If you are going to a nearby place, go by walking or use bicycle, instead of using your vehicle. The reason is to minimize the use of fuels, as far as possible.
Besides that, saving energy will help to prevent air pollution. Switch off the lights, fans, air conditioners, televisions, and other appliances, when not in use. You can also share a room with others when the air conditioner or fan is on, instead of switching them on in every room.
In conclusion, the best way that we can do to avoid Earth pollution is by reducing the amount of harmful gases in our environment and keep the stability of Earth temperature by cycling, planting trees, and saving the energy.

According to the statement above, I would like to share a few of my opinion about that. First of all, we already know about the perception of all respondand in TATiUC that the student most prefer in using vehicle such as motorcycle and car mostly for the student that have their own vehicle. Meanwhile to the student that didn’t have that opportunity were only walking thru the class. There were a few reasons why they were acted like that. Usually they were thinking of using a bicycle such a childish style. For instance, when they were student at secondary school, they already used that staff. Student of TATiUC, eventually know, when they were using that they will be mock by others that thinks differently. For me also, I wouldn’t prefer using bicycle to the class because of the distance between class and hostel isn’t far as people think. For the student at Pupuk Semangat hostel usually went to the class or campus using motorcycle , car, or bus that provided by TATiUC. For me also, by walking thru the class we can make some exercises that give benefit for our health. With the technology were having today, student were easily can get what they wont. So that, using bicycle wouldn’t suit to their flavor. Meanwhile for the boy’s student,they think that by using bicycle someone didn’t look “high class” and didn’t look attractive for girl’s student. In my opinion I suggest that for TATiUC deapertment needed to provide free bicycle services to attract student in using bicycle to the class. Furthermore also provide the department that arrange this services properly.Thank you

Cycling is good for the health and saving the earth, why cycling is good for the health and saving the earth? That because cycling is exercise, cycling also increase the stamina and burn fat, in saving the earth cycling not produce carbon dioxide because bicycle not use oil,
For this topic, many higher learning institutions are now keen doing their bit on saving earth by cycling as a way getting around campus, however it seems difference at tatiuc campus, from my opinion, cycling seems hard to apply in tatiuc this because:
-many student in tatiuc from a rich family
-student tatiuc have egoism
-no cycling track
-road in tatiuc campus not suitable for bicycle
To solve and apply cycling in campus tatiuc:
-tatiuc organizer must provide the bicycle for the student
-repair the road around tatiuc campus
-make rules that on campus student only can use a bicycle
In other high learning institution, they provide the bicycle for the student and student can rent the bicycle. Cycling in tatiuc campus can apply if tatiuc organizer follow my opinion.

For this topic, to compare the campaign of saving the earth with other higher institution, it is no doubt that other universities have preceded our college in implementing the many method to their student for saving green environment by practices cycling habits around on their campus, but I think in our college, we also have practices the method for saving our nature long time ago like walking habits that we often doing in our campus. It is not just cycling method that we can uses in orders to save our natural environment but we also can practice walking method because the effect of both cycling and walking method is the same to our environment. At TATIUC, many student seeing just walking than uses a bicycle to going around and for examples, we often seeing many of our students just walking from their hostel to go their class or workshop because our college area is not that larger like other high institution area.From this side of view, beside of cycling method, walking is also very practical way that we can use to go around in our college because it also can save our natural environment like cycling method. It is no doubt that there are still many of our students including the staff not alerts about this problem but I thinks the key point to solve this problem is the administrator of TATIUC must be more responsible to encourage the student awareness about global warming situations and take more action to fix this problem like doing a green environment campaign in our campus to save our lovely nature before it’s too late.

I agree with Mrs Sara’s statement to saving our earth by cycling as way of getting a round campus. But it same different with TATIUC campus.
Firstly, TATIUC can do a camping to promote to our student cycling a bicycle everyday. Although, they don’t want to cycling every time but they must cycling about 2 to 3 times a day. In this camping also, we can tell them about the advantage of cycling.
Secondly, our college also must take a alternative to get more bicycle to student. With that, student can use it with easy and not scramble. Other than that, they not buy the bicycle their own.
After that, we also can make a track to cycling. It is for the student cycling every evening and make a hobby or activities when they are have a free time. And than, we can make a competition to any one who are interesting. With that, they will more interesting to cycling.
Lastly, we must take a day in one week. All student and lecture must participate or involve this they and any one cannot excuse.it can be start at the entering gate .

To accomplish this, a student must provide a higher incentive. Besides, the college must also provide support for the students to do. Among them, providing funds to conduct such activities. With state funding is available, students can set up a club that is based on the environment or provide bicycles to the students right when they are in college as stated to help keep the environment on campus.
With the existence of sufficient funds, a variety of activities related to the environment can be done. To make the campus TATiUC as an example to other places, the college ought to engage his students together. In tatiuc still less emphasis on the problem of global warming caused by smoke from a vehicle on campus. This is because the tatiuc not concerned about the use of vehicles on campus. Vehicle use would lead to the production of carbon dioxide and gases that deplete the ozone layer.
According to the topics we discussed this, the tatiuc still not focused on or take appropriate action on problems facing the earth today. Probably because the tatiuc not noticed the problem the use of private vehicles will bring students to a class of problems. tatiuc consider whether the use of bicycles in the other university hostel because of factors that are far from academic buildings, the situation is very different in tatiuc a hostel and academic building not too far for students to go.
I propose that the tatiuc to provide a bicycle which can be rented by students to reduce the emission of smoke, to preserve our earth. To solve this problem, the tatiuc can enforce regulations on the use of bicycles on campus.

So far, I look at hostel block H there is only one student who have a bicycle here. I see a lot of motor vehicles in the motor park either at the motor park hostel block H, Block J, Block K, Block L nor in the dormitory block A, B, C, and D. Sometimes it is not fit to park the motor because of the motor park is full. If we look at the new hostel, so many cars till the road become narrow. We can get rid of this congestion by encouraging TATiUC’s students to cycling. TATiUC may be creating a culture without petrol.
Cycling culture is not childish but the most practical way to reduce carbon emissions and to nourish the body and overcome the problem of traffic congestion around the campus. As scholars, the TATiUC campus community should be exemplary in change the minds and sustainable lifestyle in an effort to address global warming. Some universities have been implementing such practices, and received overwhelming response from campus residents, including management and teaching staff.
At Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai Johor Bahru, for example, Vice Chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Zaini Ujang show a good example when he himself rode a bicycle around the campus to see the growth, although the official vehicles provided to its facilities.
UTM Students' Representative Council president, Muhammad Zaki Omar, said the cycling activities more popular among college students since the university's Vice Chancellor of IPT was made popular.
Maybe TATiUC Rector, Doctor Rozailan bin Mamat @ Ibrahim can show example he himself ride a bike around campus to view student progress in TATiUC campus.
The uses of bicycles not only save student’s expenses instead they will feel fun and be able to enjoy the comfortable atmosphere on the way to college. The uses of bicycles not only provide comfort but also can maintain student’s health.
"Sometimes because we are too busy with assignment and lecture, we cannot work out. The use of bicycles to get to college indirect sweat and maintain health," said Azwan Md Saion, 21, a student of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
Among the efforts to achieve campus sustainability agenda is to provide free bicycles to campus, even if the sponsoring university staff better because it creates a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
I propose to TATiUC’s MPP to express on create special track for bicycles to the TATiUC management. With the special track for bicycles, it would be better to encourage students to cycle in TATiUC campus. Words won’t solve problem, action will.

I agree with miss’s Sara statement that is bicycle being one of the way saving our earth because bicycle not produce any toxic gas like carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. With bicycle, we also can make our body become healthier.
To me, other way to saving our earth beside suggested our student and staff to cycling in campus is suggested to TATIUC management to follow what are Australia national do right now. They do “campaign 1 person 1 plant” to decrease the problem of global warming. Plants are an important element in process to decrease the earth problem like global warming, landslide and others. So, if we also do what they are having done, we can help to saving our earth too from global warming and other problems. The that campaign also interesting because it not only can be the way to saving our earth but it also can make our college looks more naturally with the plants and being like a landscape if trees are planted with stacked certain places.
Next, suggested to our college to prepare more bin especially recycle bin in campus and put at the place that have potential to student to throw out the rubbish like area of food court. If more recycle bin are prepared, the problem of environment pollution will be decrease although just in our campus. If all students and staff were applied with the awareness to care about environment problem in campus, they automatically will apply although they are not in the area of campus.

I agree with the statement given by Miss Sara. Most institutions of higher education have long been practicing the method as described by Miss Sara. We are studying in TATIUC also necessary and may practice how to save the earth and the environment from pollution and damage. Have are many method we can practice to contribute to the improvement of the environment such as reducing use of motor vehicles, this can reduce the rate monoxide gas contained in the air around us. Other than that, we already know that there is a waste can be recycled such as plastic, paper, glass and aluminum recycling process. A waste to save the earth and the environment from pollution and even to save raw materials and the earth. In my opinion, cycling is the most rewarding mode of transport to use to get to campus as it helps individuals to be healthy and save money. It is become easier to them compare they use a bike. Beside that, Cycling is one of the mechanisms to exercise and may cause us to keep in good health. In addition, we can safeguard the environment of smoke, smoke that can harm the environment and contribute to ozone depletion. I agree with this topic that cycling can save the earth when its applied in TATIUC campus. But now, many student of TATIUC using motorcycle and car when go to some place in campus. One of the method to prevent our earth pollute is cycling in their daily either to class or other places. In this campus, students are lazy ride bicycle to the class because its need fitness or some exercise. I mean paddling. That’s why they used car or motorcycle as a transport because its not tiring them. Vehicle which produce abundant carbon monoxide can give not good effect for our environment. Besides, TATIUC management can provide cycling campaign to encourage our student to ride bicycle in campus. The student can know important of cycling for their benefit. With application of bicycle in their daily life at the campus, the student can improve their stamina and become healthy. So, when in class, they can give more attention to lesson because they have some exercise while on the way to class. We do not to embarrass to ride bicycle because not only their self is prevent from the pollution, but other people are safe too. Every weekend these campaigns do the work co-operate between students and lectures to cleaning the area of campus. With this way, campus area will become clean and free from vapour or smoke..And our people in TATIUC campus are safe from various of pollution.

Earth is threatened by the measures we have to prevent that from happening take destruction of the earth around us. Without us realizing we are contributing to the destruction of our environment. In pursuit of progress, we need to keep a balance in the use of all resources. Hills, soil, rivers, sea, air and everything should be utilized without affecting the position of they. Activity manufacturing, logging and similar be governed wisely and not throw around just because of toxic waste have waste that can be harmful to life no matter the form of gas, liquid or solid. Among the measures that we can do in order to safeguard the environment is to replant trees. Earth hour programs for such a light has gone out for an hour in line to save 284 300megawatt trees and clean air for 568 persons. Additionally, avoid using a vehicle, if the designated location is near the use of bicycles or on foot to avoid the smoke that can deplete levels of vehicle ozone .Together let us save our earth, for now and future generations. What Miss Sara state it is true really agree with the statement that many other universities has long been using bicycles as their main alternative to go to class but different in TATiUC, because the students here do not use bicycles for their main alternative. TATiUC students may not use the bicycle for a distance of classrooms and dormitories feel too close and easier to walk away from cycling. Bike culture is not a bad idea but the most practical way to reduce carbon emissions in addition to nourish the body and overcome the problem of traffic congestion around the campus. To contribute, I suggested several measures to protect the environment such as cycling activities should be initiated by the energy of students, especially those as important in TATiUC like the counselor or vice-counselor, students may also feel like cycling along Counselor. TATiUC also need to set up their own cycling club, and include extra-curricular activities are part of TATiUC curricular. When it is established, the club must always hold activities to attract more people to join this club and that club are not dissolved. Government should remove provisions to ensure the success of this agenda as did the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson who will allocate RM556 million to encourage people to use bicycles in the city. TATiUC Management should create bike lanes and bike parking at strategic locations such as classrooms, lecture hall and library. That all from me, I hope we all can save the earth from the polluted and practice a healthy lifestyle and reduce pollution.
i dont think cycling in tatiuc will be happened.it looks like a miracles. i think if we seriously need to do it,all of people not only for student but all staff especially our 'boss' mr rozailan should do it first. its true that cycling can saving the earth and environmentally friendly.but while we using it, especially in the afternoon,it will be sweltering and make some trouble smelt. but what we can to do to contribute the using of cycling in tatiuc,we need to take a part in cycling club in tatiuc. unlawful use of motor vehicles including cars lecturers and staff. next,enjoined and the official gazette of bicycle as a vehicles tatiuc. make a cycling competition between student and staff to make harmony atmosphere in tatiuc. i think its enough for now because if we seriously need the using of bicycle as a way of getting around campus,do all the point that i highlight before..thank you and salam 1 malaysia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, cycling is one of the way to save our earth and can avoid from pollution.if you guys take a look other university or college some of them is using bicycle in the campus because thats is the easy transport for them to use in the campus. its not just can avoid from pollution but it also does not have to be a big parking to be park for it and it does not have to use petrol also. But is hard to see our student using bicycle in the campus because some of them are ashame of themselves or ashame with their other friend that have a car or motorcycle. Most are the international student are using the bicycle in campus because they have a different thinking. Like in TATiUC, most of their student are using car or motorcycle. This is because using a bicycle is like an old fashion to them. However some student like to walk because their classroom and hostel is not very far. It doesn't matter if in TATiUC the student or staff using bicycle or not. There is a lot of way to avoid from pollution and to save the earth. all the student must have a cooperation with each other, make some campaign about saving the earth. with this way also can save our earth is not just using bicycle in campus can save the earth. There is many way to do it. It just have to be handle by student or lecturer or do some activity in the campus to save the earth. But if the student agree to use bicycle in the campus, the university management have to make lane for the bicyclist to avoid from the bicyclist use the vehicle lane and avoid from accident. From my viewpoint, I strongly agree with Muiz regarding to plant trees around our campus. Why don't we organize a "Go Green Campaign". This idea comes from one of the commercial break of Panasonic Air Conditioning.

Age is just a number. Don't make it as excuses to say "NO" to cycle. There are a lot of benefits we can obtain from cycling especially for those who wish to reduce their weight.
According to Rozi, I think that it is pretty good if we build up a "Cycling Club". But, it is not easy to change our students culture/perception about cycling.
Zaza, I think that why don't we start with the first step. Why don't all of us (2BMET) start cycling? Let us be the role model for others. We slowly persuade others? Don't ask people to do thing to us. We did it first, if they are still care about our Earth, they will change their mind.
I would like to share my story at the time I was in UNMC (University of Nottingham). I used to cycle to class/lab/cafe. We are not allowed to drive to the class. There are divided to two zones, non-carbon monoxide and open zone. All the vehicles need to park at the provided parking space. The speciality about UNMC is the landscape of the campus. If we are cycling to the class we can see the nice view around the campus passed by the fountain, lake and cycle along the bridge. It is go green campus. It is very relaxing and enjoyable.

But for me, that’s is not too good idea because I live at Pupuk Semangat, it’s too far from colleges. If I go colleges by cycling, maybe it takes 30 minutes to reach there. Maybe this problem can be solve if I go 30 minutes early from class start, but how I can study if I in tired.This idea only can done for TATIUC student who is live in TATIUC hostel.

For girl student, not all girl in TATIUC like wear jeans, a few of them like to wear Baju Kurung. That’s is not easy for a girl wearing Baju Kurung to cycling.
cycling...an alternative way to maintain our health during studying.when we cycling,almost all part of muscles in our body moved.rather than using car or motorcycle that cause sound and air pollutions.some motorcycles produce high pitch of sound that give effect to our brain.the sound also make student lost the focus in the class.so cyling is better to reduce sound pollution.for air pollutions,the smoke emitted from the exhaust pipe are harmful although it give long term effects.not only smoke produced,when riding on sandy surface the dust will disperse to the air and effect our breathing system.cycling is slower than riding a motorcycle and that will not disperse the dust.there a lot of advantages from cycling but this activity depends on some factors.some of them is weather,do student want to cycle in such a hot and rainy day?campus should build some facility such as roofed path for bicycle.but it might cost a lot of budget to renovate the surrounding.this is why student here not prefer cycling.

for me,it is quite difficult to persuade TATiUC students to use the bicycle as a method of reducing the air polution instead of using motorcycles and cars. But we can reduce the amount of the carbon monoxide inside the TATiUC by decreasing the frequently user transport that release carbon monoxide gas.this can be carried out if we provide such cafe that can be used as a medium for students to spend time while waiting for another class.I agree with Lokman, most of us are embarrassed to use the bicycle as a vehicle to the classroom, especially for women. they would be uncomfortable because they are wearing baju kurung. for a man, they are so embarrassed to be considered as low standard when carrying a bicycle instead of motorcycles.this is not about cycling track.The tatiuc now is available to students to use the road around campus to cycle although without cycling track.this all depend on us. take it or leave it

Cycling is one of the best way that we can do to save the Earth. In order to reduce the concentration of harmful gases in our atmosphere, cycling can become the best way that may contribute to the reduction of Green House Effect. The usage of vehicles can cause air pollution.
We can go green by limiting the amount of driving. This campaign are should be as a regularly campaign to make sure awareness of the student and also to remember the student about saving an environment of the world is important.
I really want to change the lifestyle of our society by moving activities by cycling and the lastly is the most important thing in saving our earth and also the cooperation by the students and also by the lecturer’ s of TATiUC.

In my opinion, majority of student, that got MARA loan do spend their money to buy motorcycle rather then bycycle. This is because
of their mentality to life in easy way. Effects of motor vehicles that cause pollution to the earth lack of awareness among the
students TATiUC than in Japan. I got many the advantage of cyling..:
1) it can increase the level of health
2) It can reduce pollution
3) It can create health environments
4) NO need to spend money for fuel
5) No need to get bicycle license
But to make it happen, i need strategies for this issue:-
1) Make cycling competition
2) Provide cycling track
3) Admin and staff must do this first as to encourage
4) Enter the syllabus for curriculum subject
5) Event the "Cycling Day" and motivate to student about important use bicycle between motor/motorcar in campus
